Yes. The date range for one booking was from December mid to January mid

For the second booking however the date range was from May 2026 to June 2026!!!

Still showing 2 bookings under my name on their website. Also got message updates for both of them

I'll keep watching how far this 2 bookings for 1 vehicle charade goes

Who knows they might be blocking those ones and trying to sell them at a premium. You shouldn't be surprised if the Mahindra Sales Managers themselves are hand in glove with the dealer.
It is the same state here in Hyderabad. I have not got a single call from salesperson or from the dealership even once after receiving booking docket and tentative delivery date of 10-Nov 2024 to 10-Dec 2024. Sent 2 emails, called couple of times to salesperson as well as sales manager and all have gone unanswered.

I also feel some dealerships are giving the cars to people who are willing to pay premium or not negotiating on inflated insurance to get the car earlier. I am shocked to see nil dep insurance price of AX7L in range of ₹1.3 lakh to ₹1.4 lakh.

I don't understand why anyone would want to pay ₹50k to ₹1 lakh more premium to get the car early. If I wait for 6 months to 1 year, I may get the car at higher price (could turn out to be same as launch ex-showroom + additional premium of early delivery), but I would get the car with lesser niggles.

What is the real-world mileage in the city for Thar Roxx Petrol Automatic?
Further to the above, is there a huge jump in mileage from Auto -> Manual or Petrol -> Diesel?
6.4 KMpL in Bangalore city traffic (not completely bumper to bumper due to my work timings) based on my first tankful.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Went in for my first free service today and my first time ever in a Mahindra Service Center.
Here are my views

1. Interior situation is bad , I had 2/3 spots on the headliner and asked them to clean and they cleaned with some “dry cleaning solution” and there was a wet patch and I was assured that it will dry up. Fast forward till now and man that 2x4 cm patch of dirt is now almost a foot big on my roof and even worse. Every where they have cleaned be it the roof or the seats there are marks total carelessness by the staff.

2. A service representative taking a Scorpio Classic in for service staright away reversed into my car despite me honking and flashing.{Car is okay slow speed}( Dashcam not operational till now as there is no 12v port and the coverter is on order) The guy was physically disabled and could not look back due to his neck disability and I am surprised why was he allowed to drive.

3. No news on Apple Car Play and now its removed from the brochure , I dont think so we will get it now. (MX5) [I know companies make changes but I feel a bit scammed here]

4. They just abuse your car , rev / drift and drive haphazardly in enclosed spaces like idiots.

5. “Chalta hai sir / aisa he hai sir” attitude was shocking to see in this day and age in a private company in India.

6. No update , serivce advisor alloation , everything takes so much of time , eveyone was confused and I had to pester the front desk lady again and again to get any work done.

7. They were constantly calling / mailing me for a service at a 1000km but when I went there the center said its not done till 2k and when asked for the next free service as 3 were promised he had NO clue and said “10k pe he ana sir”?? .

8. Overall they are clueless about Thar Roxx and the staff / mechanics are not trained for the car.

To be honest seeing how Mahindra backed off citing “abnormal driving behavior” and voiding warranty of a youtuber and asking for 1Lac and this experience I am seriously in a dilemma now regarding the aftersales service.

Although the car redeems it but for how long will this redemption justify the purchase say after 3/4 years ??

I know each and every service center is different and views are subjective but this was the newest and the highest rated one in my city.

Also update on my previous post regaring the cleaning of interior , 3M Foaming interior cleaner does the job right. Now I will try it on my roof liner as well.

Mileage has settled in at 10.5kmpl for P MT

I recommend everyone to set tire pressure of 32 Psi.

Also guys taking delivery , the front bumper guard acessory is bolted using screws and those are rusting try to avoid that acessory.
Also the aluminum pedals those also come off.

Thank You

If it's not against the forum rules , would you please share the service center details?

The service frequency is 2k,10k,20k clearly mentioned in the warranty brochure.

Also, the aluminum pedals those also come off.
Thank you for providing your feedback on the showroom accessories that can be avoided due to lack of quality.

I remember seeing YouTube reviewers also showing the aluminum pedals coming off. It looks like the quality of the ABC pedal accessory has not improved. Are these pedals fitted on top of existing pedals?

The existing rubber pedals are removed and then these are slided on the metal body of the pedal.
The lips holding the pedal to the metal body is smaller than the rubber ones because obviously the aluminium part is less flexible so they just give up randomly and in my case while driving which was quite a laugh tho.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

The sale figures from Mahindra point to an increase of more than 2300 units for the Thar/Thar Roxx models compared to last year. (Source: Rushlane)

Given the speculation that theThar 3D demand was a bit low due to the Roxx launch, did they actually sell around 2.5 to 3k units of Roxx last month?

The vehicle in the above posted reel is the smaller Thar 3D not the bigger Thar Roxx.
This can be observed in the last few seconds of the reel.

I think it's tough to predict, especially considering it's festive month and Mahindra did give some great offers on the 3D to clear the stock. November should give a much better picture!

You would be surprised at how careless the showroom staff are sometimes, or maybe its ignorance. But i have had many of these mind of experiences, especially with cars like the roxx which are selling like hotcakes.

Please do one more test drive, so that you can be double sure about your decision.
