Koncept told me they don't have it yet but shops in Karol Bagh already have access to the official Mahindra Fog lamp harness since the beginning of the month for some reason. There are multiple videos of this on YouTube.

No word yet in Hyderabad too! For couple of weeks the focus of dealers (ones I spoke to) was on getting their showroom modifications done for BE 6 and XEV 9E.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Has anyone replaced the white seat covers with darker shade for top end model which has ventilated seats? I am looking for a good dealer in Bangalore to get mine replaced.

I think that they are using wiring harness of 3xO or some other Mahindra car, which may actually be same as Roxx. But using harness alone doesn't seem to unlock the Fog Lamp switch. It should be unlocked through software only for proper indicator on MID too.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Just got an update from a cousin who is associated with Mahindra in Chandigarh. As per him there is a slowdown of 5 door Thar in Punjab and it’s not much in demand. He says that the sales of Thar are going to fall down steeply in coming months. He said infact the sale of 3 door continues to be like it was before and has infact gone up coz of the discounts on offer

You mean the previous bookings are also cancelling? It may be no booking further because of the waiting periods. I think that he is telling about. Here in Bhubaneswar also the same situation. More bookings on the 3 doors.

It looks all the hype with Thar 5 door is settling and dispatch numbers by Feb and March would indicate how many units of Thar are dispatched on monthly basis. It will be difficult to see Thar 5 door demand and dispatch separately as Mahindra sells both 5 door and 3 door Thar under the same name.

A lot of people had 2 bookings for Thar Roxx, out of which either 1 was cancelled or both were cancelled due to dealership issues and/or too long waiting periods. Mahindra did not provide any price protection this time.

AX7L variants now cost ₹50k more and people who booked top end were waiting for delivery while Mahindra churned out MX5 variants more which had less takers. There are lot of SUVs in this segment, so people may not wait for 1+ year to get car delivery like XUV700 or Scorpio-N launch times.

One thing I have also observed is that Thar Roxx test drive cars are now lying idle most of the time from 2 showrooms I have passed by for past couple of weeks. The Mahindra showroom that I cross on my way daily now has a test drive Thar Roxx that is always parked there in the morning and evenings. The car was never seen standing idle in October and November of 2024 when the booking and test drives started.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

So now you can convert your Roxx into a full blown Wrangler. To be honest I can lt wait to see what we will have for this vehicle 6 months down the line.
