TPMS works flawlessly and as the TPMS is connected with phone over bluetooth, there is no need to open the car to check tyre pressure status and alerts.
Apple car play (Wired) working smoothly.

Photos of the Roxx MX3 P AT with new company alloys . Need to update the fog lamp also once Mahindra can unlock the fog switch of the vehicle , Can any one suggest a better way around.
Nice! Congratulations on the purchase.

Did you instal the TPMS at the showroom itself?

No , it was done by my local tyre dealer as i placed my order and got the TPMS only a day before delivery of vehicle. Easy to install for any reasonably experienced tyre mechanic. You will have to pair TPMS with your smart phone before installing and mark the TPMS and corresponding tyre so that the same order is maintained when you refit the tyre back on the vehicle. Few videos on how to pair and install is available on you tube in case you have any difficulty.

Booked on Oct 03, 2024 through dealer and also directly. This allotment is from dealer booking as I had cancelled my direct booking earlier.

Finally, I had a chance to have a look at the Mocha brown & black dual-tone interiors of the Thar Roxx. Most of the areas which will be touched are now dark coloured, which means the interiors won't look soiled very easily. I remember having a tough time keeping the ivory interiors of the media car I drove in August 2024 clean.

Here are some images.

Mahindra Thar Roxx Review-1.jpg

Mocha Brown is used on the lower portion of the dashboard, middle of the doorpads and on the seats. Except for the roofliner, pillars and grab handles, which continue to be ivory, everything else is black:

Mocha brown contrast stitching on the passenger side of the dashboard:

Glovebox lid is also brown:

Mocha brown contrast stitching on the upper portion of the doorpad, Area around the armrest and power window console is also brown:

Mocha brown & black seats will be much easier to keep looking good over time:

Thanks Adiya. In my opinion white interiors look much more premium than Mocha brown. I agree White will be much more difficult to maintain vs Brown, but for me that effort is well worth solely due to the premium quotient which the white bring to the table

I agree. White looks premium compared to Mocha brown.

Colors are always a personal choice, but for me the Brown interiors look very ordinary taking away all the premiumness from the car.
It would I think also make the car feel less roomy. Though difficult to maintain, after seeing this, I think I made the right decision by going in with the white interiors.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Just got my car back from its 1st service. The software has been updated, and the android auto feels smoother, no more disconnections. Previously, that was a common issue, but it seems resolved. The wireless charger did heat up slightly, though it might just be due to the afternoon heat. Can someone comfirm this.

I also inquired about upgrading the fog lamps and DRLs. They’re still waiting for the fog lamp wiring kit, so no timeline yet. As for the DRLs, they flat-out refused, even after I showed them a Karol Bagh video showing them a simple plug and play fit.

Has anyone installed MX3 DRLs? If yes, was this aftermarket or from Mahindra? I still feel it's a simple fix, but they don't want to be the 1st one to attempt it.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

To be honest, Mahindra should've copied black and tan/beige interior colors from previous Wrangler.

It would maintained airy feel of the current car and rhe premiumness.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

I took delivery of my Stealth Black AX7L Diesel AT Thar Roxx in Mocha Brown interiors today. The Koncept guys told me that mine is the first Roxx in Mocha Brown to be delivered in Delhi NCR - don't know if that's true, but these guys have 23 dealerships across NCR, and I was definitely the first for them.

Interesting story though - I received a phone call out of the blue yesterday morning at 1130AM - it was truly a shocker - the delivery date shared with me was October 2025, and had the phone call from the Mahindra dealership come a day later, I would have already paid for the Toyota Hilux. Just this weekend I had finalised the suspension upgrade, wheels, rims, and other mods for the Hilux.

When I received the call from the Mahindra dealership, I was in utter disbelief, and am quizzing the guy - you are selling me a new car? he was like, sir I am calling from the dealership, we sell new cars only. Incidentally, the dealership is in the same building as my office, so 5 mins later I was across his desk verifying the VIN and other details. Today 7PM the car was mine.

Will post photos soon.

Thank you for sharing.

Is the seat material used in Mocha brown interior same as the one used in Scorpio-N or is it similar to existing Thar Roxx white interiors?

Mahindra has decided to use material used in XUV700 AX7 variants in Thar Roxx for white seats as per post shared earlier in this thread. This change was only limited to top end AX7L as per the details shared for now.

The different seat materials available for Thar Roxx would be
1. Soft white for Thar Roxx MX5, AX5L (existing ones)
2. Off white XUV700 seat materials for AX7L RWD
3. Mocha interior for AX5L 4x4, AX7L 4x4

It is good to see Mahindra providing more interior color choices in a lifestyle car like Thar Roxx. The interior colors are locked to variants just like Kia Seltos and with front side airbags it is not advisable to change seat cover to something else if customer wants a change. May be 5 years down the line we as customers would get an option to select interior colors during booking process.

Is the new updated Off white seat material offered only in AXL7 RWD ? I thought it is applicable for AX7L 4x4 model ?

I still have another 1 year waiting period as per Oct 2024 communication from Mahindra, so there is enough time for me to wait for reviews/user experience on this new material and change the booking preference for the interior colour, if needed

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

The Mocha Brown could certainly have been a bit lighter in shade and classier, but I cannot imagine trying to maintain the white with 2 teens and 2 doggies.

One major downside of continuing to clean the white interiors is that the material itself will start to wear and fray at the contact points. That would land owners in an even bigger soup.
