We cancelled our booking for the AX7L 4WD Battleship Grey with Mocha Interiors, it was an unofficial booking. The dealership had made the booking within 3 hours of bookings opening.

However, we still received an email with an estimated delivery window between 19th April to 18th May, 2026 .

Special Thanks to BHPian RavenAvi Ji for always guiding us, we decided to go with XUV 7OO AWD instead of Roxx. However, based on 3 different dealerships, we have postponed the purchase decision.

Looks like the delay in Booking on Oct 9, did not matter as probably the AX7L Mocha Intrs batch is being planned for Apr-May'25.

Booking for AX7L Mocha Interiors deep forest
Delivery day is from 24-07-2025 to 23-08-2025.
Decent timelines considering mocha brown is starting delivery in January and some niggles might be sorted out. Only worry is price wish they offer price protection at least for first n bookings

My booking is for AX7L and the tentative delivery dates are Feb-Mar '25. I think we should take these dates with a table spoon of salt. IMO, these are analyzed and auto generated date ranges based on booking data logged.

Approx, a month range itself for each booking is absurd indicating that their actual booking to production to sales figures will be different. Standard case of clumsy input = vague output.

Not all bookings translate to deliveries. Especially when booking amount is fully refundable. Dual bookings will have cancellations.

For reference, Scorpio N - in the duration from April 2022 to February 2023, Mahindra sold a total of ~69,324 units of Scorpio and Scorpio-N. Out of these, 68,147 units were retailed in the domestic market.

M&M won't be actually selling that many Roxx units as per booking numbers published.

So I am hopeful that all will receive their deliveries sooner than what's in the email from M&M.

That said, some delay is good. For issues to be ironed out, S/W updates, and (fingers crossed) hopefully Mocha interiors for RWD!

I already have 2 cars with white interiors and have not faced any problems so far. I like white better than dark interiors which feel gloomy and cramped. Have been admiring the 3 door thars on road since quite some time but they are not very powerful, minimal luxury features and did not find them practical for family use. The Roxx ticked all requirements for me as an all rounder.
I had done another offline booking for the same AX7L 4x4 AT in my sons name at the dealership. got the expected delivery date sms today evening. 10 months wait 😬, good i booked online within 15 seconds of booking start. Have told dealership to cancel the offline booking.

Some long waiting periods! But at least Mahindra delivered the news today, the target-less waiting ends. Even if my total waiting period might be within 3 months (Grey AX7L 4x4 white interiors), this is the longest wait for any car I've bought till date.

Thank you Mahindra for meeting the 25th timelines, that puts confidence in the committed dates even if they seem quite stretched for 4x4.

Took delivery of AX5L DAT RWD Deep Forest yesterday (24/10/2024). There were so many deliveries planned that SA didn't have the time to collect payment for accessories. She said I can pay for them next time I come back to dealership.

Went for minimal accessories for now:

• Mud flaps
• 7D Floor Mat
• Scuff plates

So far only driven short distances in city. Some observations:

• Already a hit in the neighbourhood, specially popular amongst kids
• Engine feels powerful enough and cabin is super silent
• Effortless to drive even in traffic
• Starting from standstill feels slightly abrupt - not smooth

I am going on a long road-trip on Sunday. Looking forward to that.

I expected to be one among the first few deliveries. Hoped I could get it in October. Still, ok with what the communication says. Stepping up/down from Xuv 500 2015. The family size has unfortunately shrunk and a 5 seater with go anywhere and most of the creature comforts seems a good bargain at this price.

The SA says he will intimate in case there is a spare vehicle due to a cancellation, but is unsure if I'll get my choice of Battlefield Gey, AX7LP before the communicated timeline.

I did receive an update on my second booking that I was planning to cancel, but no news on the one I was following up all along.

One by dealer and one done by me on 3rd Oct 11.03 am

Guess what,
Dealer waiting is Aug-Sept 2025
The one done by me is Dec 2024

I was going to cancel by booking today and keep the one by dealer!
