Wish it was that easy. The seat airbags make aftermarket covers a complex matter, requiring far more skill than the usual tie-on stuff.

I haven’t received anything yet. Initially they wanted me to wait till 30 Oct. I had also dropped emails to customercare@mahindra.com
The lady from Mahindra CC I spoke to in the morning told me that emails had to be sent to bookingsupport@mahindra.com instead and when I did, they simply forwarded it back to customercare@mahindra.com
So, long story short, no update, and now thinking if I should wait or cancel and go for another model/brand.

How are you going to use aftermarket seat covers on seats with Airbags?

@GTO/Mods - did you notice anything similar?
Finding unique situations in a new launch is not new. Moreover, that handle survives on dissing #Mahindra products!:

How you are going to add new seat covers when top end variants have ventilated seats + airbag is common across all other variants in front seats?

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Finally Took delivery of Thar Roxx Ax7 L Diesel Automatic in Tango Red. Want to name her. Exactly after 15 years. We again came back to Red colour after Fiat Punto.

As per the dealer this is the 1st Ax7 L vehicle in Telangana.

After waiting 4 long years as I liked Thar design but didn’t like the drive and rear seat access.

So waited patiently thinking that Thar 5 D will be better in terms of driving.

Mahindra exceeded my expectations and gave the following features-

Excellent ride quality
Pano Sunroof
Leather dash & door pads
360 camera.

Only dislike is White interiors.

They should’ve gone for Black or some other dark interiors.

Already seats and hand rest has marks.

Congratulations. Your Roxx looks smashing in that Tango Red shade. It distinguishes well from the 3 door Red. Is this a 4x4?

And now the eternal question. What mods have you planned?

That white upholstery is so challenging to maintain! You just saved me from going after the AX5L 2WD D AT. I’ll either go with the MX3 or the AX5L 4WD AT with the Mocha interior later on.

Add me to this list. The customercare@mahindra.com is just hopeless

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

The Thar ROXX ís essentially a Mercedes G Wagen in 20 to 25 lakh price bracket. Highly Desirable, Rugged with off road capabilities, with little ímportance given for space and practicality.

There is no reason to hate this one.

Good Luck to all Team Bhpians who will be driving this beàuty

It’s a RWD, we never used 4wd in our fortuner during its 2 lakh kms run. So the additional 2 lakhs extra is not worth. I like thar just because of the looks and feel. Not because of her capabilities. In fact I hate driving 3D thar.

No mods have been planned. All mods are going in my uncle’s MX3 version.

My experience was opposite , completely smooth. I sent an email to them immediately on booking day for 2 transactions which were showing success but had failed in their portal.

Did a followup on email itself, where they acknowledged and then even called and informed me that they are looking into it and sent an email acknowledging the booking and multiple payments. After that they called and informed about refund which will be initiated and indeed it was.

Hope you provided all screenshots and stuff it helps them to FastTrack.

------
Coming to Suspension I think it is normal Fortuner, Jimny all display it and why do you need to race in reverse. Highlighting and asking something to be fixed which is okay might lead to compromising its capabilities.

Catch phrases and influencer baits should be avoided at all times just like paid news media.
-------

Has anyone experienced Wind noise from footwear area as was reported in Media drive (gaadiwaadi I think)

Also Acoustic windshield seems nothing but foam seal treatment to joints to avoid air seepage. All 5D owners can get that I think aftermarket.
--------

When will Mahindra start displaying the Timelines on the portal.

Every youtuber and instagrammer will now reverse all sorts of cars at high acceleration and prove / disprove whether it's an issue or not.

On a separate note, sharing a few photos of the white beauty.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

I had booked my Thar 5 Door MX3 P AT, through a showroom in Hyderabad. I got an email from Mahindra on 11th October Stating that I'll get my tentative delivery date till 25th, October is over but I didn't receive any information yet from the company. When I called the customer support, they're just saying that I'll get my delivery date by EOD . The SA at the showroom is also clueless about the delivery date. Can you guys suggest me what to do.

Re: Mahindra Thar Roxx Review

Panoramic sunroof is not getting closed as per this reel. These kind of electronic issues always scares people. Earlier in our XUV 500 water used to leak from sunroof when it’s raining heavily.

Attaching the video link.
