Yes its possible that defect is with your car's part. For me, it works well with case across Android and Apple ecosystem.
Hopefully Hyundai resolves this proactively.

I have tried with iPhone 13,15,16 and multiple android phones. None of them get charged.

Hi Aperalli,

I too noticed the wireless charging periodically stopping for my phone. I zeroed it in to a fault in my phone. It was getting super hot when charging plus being used via wireless AA. This was happening with both front and back wireless charger. To experiment, I put my phone on flight mode, disconnected it from Android auto and placed it on the wireless charger. It charged without issues but still got mildly warm.

My wife's iPhone 15 Promax charges without issues.
