Will try to follow the tips on petrol and driving style on improve the mileage. But to be fair, we bought the car for the safety, comfort and the amazing driving experience, fully aware that mileage won't be a strong point. So no regrets. I assume the same would be true for most Kylaq owners.

No, I haven't. Skoda doesn't sell anything like that as an accessory. But from my 600+ Kms usage as of now, I don't feel it is needed assuming your intention is to reduce NVH. Only at low rpm I do hear light engine rev sound but that's very much bearable IMO. However I haven't crossed 100 km/hr as of now, so I'm not sure how the engine behaves beyond that. But what I have understood is beyond 100 Km/hr speed one really hears a sporty grin of the underlying machine which I will anyway love!!

Concur. Don't feel the need for it at all. Have run the Kylaq at 120 and NVH is very controlled running on 6th gear in the MT. Sounded quite throaty at about 140ish for the brief bit that I was there, but I quite liked that!

PS - got my first low tyre pressure monitoring alert but the car didn't tell me which wheel was effected. I checked the notifications section as well. Am I missing something? Quite odd if the system sends out a generic alert only without specifically mentioning a particular wheel.

Yes that's how the system works. The only way is to check all tires, refill if required and SET the pressure setting again in the infotainment to remove the warning symbol.

Thanks, I was looking more from heat reduction point, I assumed the damping material is available at service centre similar to one sold for Skoda Slavia cars.
Hope Skoda might sell it later for Kylaq models.

I feel for this specific case of heat reduction, damping must not be done IMO. Reason? Engine heat should radiate outwards, one way via radiator and another way via using good conductors of heat like metal bonnet. Using damping to prevent heat from escaping the engine bay would be rather not a good idea I suppose! Experts bhpians out there can confirm my logic.

Got 19 kmpl while cruising at 95 kmph on a leisure Sunday morning drive on Delhi Mumbai expressway. It showed 20 kmpl at 85 kmph. City drive I get anything between 5 kmpl to 11 kmpl depending on the distance and traffic.

Skoda Kylaq waiting period extends up to 5 months.

The maximum waiting period of up to 5 months is for the base Classic trim.

The mid-spec Signature and Signature+ trims have a waiting period of about 3 months, while the top Prestige trim has a waiting period of 2 months.

This seems to be the new way of getting customers to purchase the top variant. In the past year, I came across multiple stories online where customers found that top end car variants had the shortest waiting periods, while base variants had the longest.

Hey guys, I managed to grab 16inch dual tone Skoda original alloys of Slavia from a Bangalore tyre shop for 40k. Shipped it to Madurai and got them installed. I found a seller for my stock alloys from Kylaq owners whatsapp group. We both had a good trade-in for the wheels!

Finally I enhanced with dual tone the way I wanted to from the boring alloys of my Signature Plus.

I loved this particular alloy design of Slavia than the ones of Prestige variant of Kylaq which is any way 17inch. If I am supposed to grab 17inch same design of top-end Kylaq, then I will have to upgrade my tyres from 16 to 17inch and cost will skyrocket as 17inchers are super expensive.

I have successfully fixed dual tone trumphet horn in my Kylaq without cutting the wire! I got this below VW dual horn splitter and it made the job easy with plug and play set up.

I got in touch with my dealer for the fitment who immediately agreed to fix. We planned to fix kushaq's dual horn (Roots brand). It was a 15 min job from opening to closing. And you know what, the dealer never charged for the work! I was extremely delighted by the gesture shown!

I feel one should be blessed to be with a good dealer! In my case of PPS Skoda Mysore Road they were so hesitant even to say "OK" when I approached them for fitment of my existing dashcam from my previously owned Punto and that too connecting it to Type C port, not fuse box. After much drama they said Ok but bluntly told they will not fit it!

Finally I did it myself!

And about horn they told a customer came with a complaint of sound from engine bay of Kylaq which they figured out due to fitment of after market horn which was coming in contact with radiator. So they are not encouraging customers to go for it!
