Sorry Sid ! if I missed it .... after the fatal accident of your Punto (2009) you had bought a swift so is this Red Punto a new purchase now ?
And yes, I second on what you said regarding the A/C cooling in this Delhi heat of temp between 47 - 48.
Moreover there was no drop in cooling even on the stranded idle car whereas we were group of friends sitting in an idle Innova today with A/C on and the A/C simply didn't work until we had to drive it to get the cool air.
Kudos FIAT in all departments ..... just work on your brand image guys.

I'm facing a coolant leak in my Punto MJD. Last week I got it serviced from Vecto and they had replaced the coolant. Then on Sunday I did a long drive for 530 km and the coolant is at the min level now.
I've faced this problem earlier as well a few months ago. KHT told me that there was a leak in the EGR cooler and changed the tightening clamps , but the problem hasn't gone away it seems.
The leak happens when I drive at high speeds between 120-130 kph for a few hours. In usual city driving or even moderate speed highway driving ( < 100kph ) I haven't seen the leak - or it's too low to be noticeable.
Any suggestions on what to look for ? And where exactly is the EGR cooler located ?
EDIT : attached a photo where there's a patch below the radiator , possibly a coolant leak ??

I had faced a coolant leak issue in my car last year. In my case, in my case I could see the coolant on the engine guard when I opened the bonnet and.
The hose from the coolant tank was replaced and I was good to go.
Last month, My colleague's 3 month old 1.3 punto faced the same issue. but in his case he couldn't see the leak anywhere. Vecto guys found out the problem source and replaced an O-ring in the thermostat (in warranty) and now its fine.
What's the difference between "Filtering Element"and Äir FIlter"? I find both listed in the bill from the service I did last week. Sorry about the poor pic quality.

59064468 is the engine air intake filter. 59064502 is the substitute filter for AC Wire mesh filter 59116510 in the car A/C air system. Regds.

From my bill, ''Air Filter" costs 183/- and the "Filtering Element" costs 358/-.
Taxes are extra. Some spare prices were revised recently.
I visited Vecto Fiat on Hosur Road today and saw a red Punto on the 1st floor.
There was a page stuck on it saying that it was a 2013 sports model , OTR 9.13 but they were offering it at 7,77,777/-.
Anyone interested may call up Vecto and find out further details.
Greetings all!
After numerous delays and extremely poor service from Esskay Fiat Mumbai (will elaborate later), I've been given an option of opting for the 90HP Diesel which is in their yard.
I will be going for the PDI tomorrow morning and will follow the checklist provided by Team BHP.
1. Are there any other things apart from TBHP's checklist that I should check?
2. Can someone please throw light on the 'H' symbol? Should it be present when I do the PDI tomorrow?
Early replies will be immensely helpful. :)

-check the bodywork for any misaligned panels
-suspension, for any undue noise (esp the shocker mounts)
-check steering play
-interior panels misaligned are a common issue, still check it
-rattles from rear seat locks, a known issue
-alignment
-month and year of manufacture-is the car "sport" (with black roof) or emotion?
For "H"
-means the car has clocked less than 50 kms IIRC. It should be there.
@sidindica
He says he has both the Sport and the Emotion available. Have they built a 2014 Sports variant?
Also how do I get the month and year of manufacture?

Ask him for VIN number of both vehicles & a pic of the name plate inside the engine bay. Will contain the month, year of mfg.
@gsurya @sidindica
Thank you for the swift replies. I hope I'm not disappointed by them tomorrow.
Hi.
Hope I am not the one responsible for your difficulties with Esskay, since I remember recommending them to you albeit with a caveat. Sorry, if so.
I'd get the newer vehicle, as gsurya says. If the Sport was 2013 built, and if the 'H' sign's there: insist on a good discount. Someone has posted about a Sport selling in Bangalore for Rs. 7.77 lakhs, I believe.
All the best
