Got the Pollen filter from Bosch installed couple of days back and here is my observation:

- Absolutely no foul smell coming in the cabin
- There is still warm air coming from the central left vent if the temperature difference between outside air and ACC is less than 4 deg C.
- The side vents are now getting cooler and I can feel the chill air coming from it.

Still the problem is not resolved completely (but the situation is better than before), it will be good if we can persuade FIAT to switch back to the earlier filter design.

Can someone please publish the gear ratios on the MJD? Searched this thread but could not find the ratio.

Wanted to understand how short the first two gears are and whether they have been tweaked in the EVO

The ratios are given in the owners handbook

The struts on my Jet's boot lid were replaced under warranty. Only one was leaking but the dealer went ahead and changed both (Oberoi Fiat) and in any case they were not that expensive either 3or400 bucks each.

I got them changed under extended warranty. They are priced at 800 each, and labor 90 for each side. Strange part: Oberoi said it ain't covered, while Kashyap changed it without a fuss. Approvals came in a matter of hours! Bill = 0 ! clap: Must appreciate !!

Hi Guys, Has anyone tried shopping on 99rpm for FIAT spares? I am based in Noida and planning to order front Shocker kit for Punto MJD. I don't want to upgrade to increased GC shocks which are being offered in market. However this site is still offering the pre 2012 model shocks. I want to be sure before ordering.

I do not think this is some thing which regularly fails in Linea/Punto. I have not faced any issues with boot dampers in my Linea so far in 6 years and very few members have faced this damper failure. It is not some thing as common as broken seat height levers or fuel lids which refuse to open/close lol:
Good to know that the parts are covered under extended warranty.

Boot of a sedan is generally lighter than that of a hatchback as the hatchback needs more reinforcement for structural rigidity. Don't think linea's bootlid will be that heavy - could be heavier than that of other sedans though.
