I had this problem, disconnecting the -ve battery terminal for a few minutes fixed the problem.

Thanks SdP will try that tonight. Have you changed the engine oil on first service or not? Just very confused?

Punto VGT 90bhp launch is confirmed for 2010 by the CEO of Fiat India.

Punto Trendz has also been given the go ahead.

Linea TJet will also be launched this year.

we know that these new models would be launched from Auto show.but dates are not yet out! if he had atleasted hinted when these would be launched (atleast which quarter of 2010), potential buyers can wait!

No, the Palio has not been phased out, it is very much there. It’s just that there was only so much space available to us! It will continue in the same avatar however."
No news of new Palio! This should put an end to new palio speculation!.

Replying to my mail, Mr. Narendra Sharma from FIPL confirmed that Punto Sports will be launched by second half of 2010. So it will be somewhat like a Anniversary edition

Cheers!

^^ That is a right guess. Anniversary is the correct time for Fiat to launch it.

I was postponing my clutch save cylinder (CSC) till yesterday. Now I regret what I have done so far. After the CSC change there is a remarkable difference in gear change, the driveability has improved leaps and bounce. Previously, it takes eternity for a gear change. Now clutch travel has reduced to half and gear change happens quickly and effortlessly.

I'm sure the 0-100 figures of the car after the CSC will definitely be lesser than to the one taken without CSC change. Can anyone here confirm that?

Sorry if this has been discussed earlier, but which cars have had the CSC's changed, as in, Punto's manufactured within which months?

I with you Amartya. I have purchased my Punto in Oct '09 (make: Sept 2009). When I recently went for 3 months servicing, I explicitly asked the SA if my car needed the CSC. He said it did not. But reading the improvement in clutch travel, I desperately want one.

Can all folks who have changed their CSC respond with month and year of manufacture of the vehicle.

Thanks
