Re: Chevrolet Beat : Test Drive & Review

I am facing this issue of a faint check oil pressure light. This light goes away after 15 minutes of driving. The oil is up to mark in my car, got it recently topped up as well. Service is due in 5k kms but the oil was fine when I got it checked a week ago. What might be the problem here?

I had gone through this back in 2020.

The faulty Oil Pressure Switch is the culprit.

This is the part. https://boodmo.com/catalog/4262-oil_...fY-o-lsL9OAWBy

It will start leaking oil bit by bit eventually.

Re: Chevrolet Beat : Test Drive & Review

Is anyone selling spare parts? Incase they are getting their car scrapped? I am looking for a front bumper, rear bumper, and left tail light for the pre facelift Beat.

Or, I am looking for a facelift bumper, foglamp assembly, chrome additions for the bumper and a rear facelift bumper.

Additionally, I need a door actuator for the rear right door. This is related to the remote locking. The rear door doesnt unlock anymore, has to be manually unlocked with the pull of hand. Couldnt find this part anywhere, leads regarding this would be highly appreciated.

Where can I find such parts for cheap? Dont want to spend so much on new parts.

Re: Chevrolet Beat : Test Drive & Review

What is the part name that is used for the central locking mechanism? My car came with the factory fitted remote lock system but the rear right door does not unlock and has to be unlocked manually. My mechanic has said that this is because of the door actuator failure and as per him GM has stopped production of this part. I have searched so much for this part with that name but I havent found a single trace of it.

Is that part called actuator? Or does it have any other name such as door regulator?

Hi myavu,
I replaced the oil switch but the problem is still there. Checked with a few mechanics, and all of them pointed it to be a wiring issue.

Do you think it might be something else?

Also, the actuator that you have mentioned in one of the previous posts, is it the same for both the rear doors or is it different for the left and right? If it is different, can you post links of the same? Am unable to find it on boodmo.

Yes, it could be a wiring issue. Also check the relevant fuse too.

As per Boodmo, it is the same. But I am not sure about it. You can open the door trim and check.
