Pune is not a logistical option.
The job will take a few days to do, so it needs to be in Mumbai.

Well for the brakes. Before changing the rears to discs you should get better rotors and pads at the front. I would speak to Petes if I were you, they will be able to guide you the best for suspension and brake options. They had done a rear disc conversion on a vento. For European cars petes is the best.

Had a chance to drive the diesel Polo today. The engine feels very punchy, surprisingly so and I didn't feel much turbo-lag at all. I don't know why GTO mentioned that the turbo lag is high, I didn't feel it anywhere near Swift's or Vista's - in fact it felt very Figo-ish in responsiveness.

Apart from Figo, this is the one diesel hatchback I would recommend now, pushing Swift to third on my list. (Yet to drive the 90bhp Punto, of course)

I just placed the order for Sparco Pista Alloy Wheels.
17" 5 Hole - 100 PCD - 4 pieces.

They will arrive in 15 days - USA.

I need to buy Tyres for it.
215.40.17 is what I need.
I wonder what I will get ?
Anything better than Yoko S Drive ?

I will have 4 VW Polo Alloys for sale with YOKO S-Drive for sale.
Driven less than 500 kms.
This is 15" alloy - factory fitted with 215.55.15 tyres.

I will post a classified for it soon, with pics - soon.
Attractive price will be offered.

My car has gone for ICE - will be there for 15days [I know too long]
Will start a new thread for it under ICE. Hope that turns out good.

Yeah 215/40/17 should be ideal.I just got 215/45/17 on my Polo.Not giving me any hassle.The ride will be comparatively better as opposed to 215/40/17's.
Uploading a couple of pics of my car as well taken randomly from the phone.Is your car white?Those graphites will look nice on white:-)

Hope to get it soon. Wednesday is ETA from Tire Rack.

I have O/G Rims for sale. VW Polo - Hi Line Alloys + Yoko S Drive 205.55.15 [driven less than 200 kms] !

Rims arrived - Customs 'loaded' the 'duty' [sad] !

They were installed.

Car has not been driven - has been in the docks for the past 10 ++ days - ICE & Seats.

Some pics.

Will report about the ride - after 10 days more - when the car gets to be in a condition to be 'driven' !

Great choice of alloys. These alloys give that aggressive look to the Polo, which otherwise comes under the "cute" category IMO.

It would be nice to bump into you when I come to Mumbai.

Superb Rim's for your Polo Bhagwan Sir. I like the design and the Anthracite Effect of those rims. Please keep us informed about the Ride Quality, Handling and other factors of upsizing to 215/40/R17, and I see you have got your Calipers painted to red, Awesome

Has anyone put on 17" Enkei M3 wheels on theirs? Would love see a picture of how they look. Also anyone managed source the OEM 17"s that are optioned with the overseas models?
