17 K for a front Bumper , seems to be some mistake (by the company if it is true). I think I need to get the price list of spares when I wisit the dealership for TD.

Need help on the accessories & costs from the owners of the Vento.

I don't think so. the whole purpose of the vento was to share as many parts with the polo as possible to keep costs down. and the shared parts are going to go on a polo also, then they need to be in line with comparative costs of other small cars. so i think the lower costs, combined with VW's solid build quality should be a good deal in the long term maintainence of the car.

Heartiest Congratulations Naveen!

Damn good choice of colour. White looks most stunning on Vento.

Eagerly waiting for your thread and some stunning pics.

Re: Volkswagen Vento : Test Drive & Review

VW dealership in Mangalore will be opening very soon. The bookings for new cars would be opening shortly. I had enquired about the waiting period for Vento and came to know that it is 45 - 60 days as of now. However no formal announcement regarding car bookings have been made by the dealership.

Waiting period of 45-60 days this sure is a good sign.Hope VW gets the waiting period down to under 1 month at the earliest for all bookings

Re: Volkswagen Vento : Test Drive & Review

Is the vento coming out with an automatic transmission for its diesel any time sooner ?
I'm on the lookout for a automatic diesel saloon . The options I have are the Jetta, Laura , cruze and the verna. Not really happy with any of them .
