UV Protect for my S-Cross : This included foam wash, interior vacuum, dashboard dressing, tyre dressing and wax application by hand.

This is a new store and the only 3M car care in Goa. I am happy with their service.

Good :

1. The staff were friendly.

2. They delivered the car in time.

3. The store is located at good location and traffic is thin here.

4. Parking space is adequate

Haha!! I have not moved to Goa . There was an incident and car was very dirty. All I wanted was a good wash ASAP.

I have a new polo GT TSI. I am in Goa for a month and need some sort of paint protection as I can already see swirl marks on the paint. Would you recommend this UV treatment?

I would suggest to get the 3M paint protection treatment. It will remove the existing swirl marks. UV protect is just wash and wax. There is no paint correction here.

3M has launched hypershield coating. It is also glass coating .

Thanks for the quick reply. I will check on the hypershield coating here. My car is just a month old so paint correction isn’t required as such. I need some basic paint protection as none of my parking spots are covered and the car does spend most of the time under the sun.

I had got my XUV 500 underbody anti rust coating done a month back! Wanted to post here long back but kept on forgetting. Since this is the only 3m center in Goa, opened in December, wanted to get the anti rust done by 3M themselves,not a 3rd party using 3M products.

Anyways I made an appointment over the phone and found out that their prices were quite competitive. The Mahaindra Service center was charging me 10k rupees for the 5 year warranty coating. I paid 4.8k for the same.

Dr Naren has excellently explained and described the layout of the center. Since it's brand new, everything is well layed out except for one thing. Since the vehicle has to be raised by the hydraulic lifts to access the underbody, there seems to a design flaw with the placement of the Lift.

While raising the XUV we found that the car was just able to stay clear from the sloping roof above and the wall fan, any longer SUV like the fortuner/endeavour and the 3M guys would have to lower the car and bend more while working under the car. I didn't take a pic cause I was too worried about them touching the roof and the ceiling fan but from this pic you can make out somewhat what im talking about.


This was the only drawback I could find, other work bays were very well spaced out and staff was enthusiastic! Happy to finally have an authorized 3M center in Goa and maybe the local guys can up their game if they want to compete! Hope This 3M center maintains their quality in the long run.

Good to hear that your experience was also good . I had been to many 3M car care centres and I had the best experience at this store in Goa.
