Hey Guys,
Can anyone tell me which of the Hinjewadi Pumps are open till late in the night ? Sometimes I leave office after 11 pm or even later, only to realise I am running almost dry and no pumps on the way to fill up at, all the way till home in Kothrud.

Yesterday found the IOC pump open after 11. Filled up at 66.4 Rupees a liter. I should start an official hate campaign against Maruti now for not having a Swift ZDi in its portfolio.

I filled up at 68.5 in Pune this morning! Of course I have no one to blame but myself; anyway Honda is nowhere close to getting a diesel

By the way the guy at the Kasat petrol pump (near Harshal Hall/ Karisma society; opp McDonalds) tried the good old trick of asking if I wanted a receipt just as another was trying to begin pumping fuel. I didnt answer him till the tank was closed and then laughed in his face; dont be surprised if you found someone grumpy there today

Ok, as promised, here are the bunks that are open till late.
Agreed, most of them are not good pumps, but then in case of emergencies they help.

1. BP bunk in Phase 2 open till 11:30PM
2. IOC Pump Phase 1 open till 11:00PM
3. HP Pump Phase 1 (next to McDonalds) open till 11:00 PM
4. Shell Highway Pump open till 11:00PM
5. Dont know which company bunk, but the one afer Wakad Bridge on the right, is open till 11:00PM

Shell Pump at Hinjewadi seems to be feeling the heat of the competition what with 2 new pumps starting operation. Yesterday received an SMS from them about reduced petrol price to Rs.70.43. Do not track Petrol Prices at Shell so not sure of the percentage reduction. I hope the same has been done for diesel. Would be filling up there today and would check that out.

Correction in my earlier post. Petrol is actually Rs.70.95 per litre.

Filled up diesel today morning and was happy to see a reduction of Rs.4 in it as well. Yippeee!!! Small pleasures considering that it is still expensive compared to other bunks.

Shell - here I come. It's been a while since I've tanked up there. Of course, sole reason is the price differential. When I was tanking up there before, I was getting at least a 1km increase in kmpl figures.

Thank you shell! Will fill up on my way back today. Only problem is, I guess they have put dividers on that road, and will have to take a U-turn further down the road (near the wine shop).

Simple- fill up on your way in! I did this morning.

The Shell HJW pump is the *only* pump in Pune that I trust unreservedly now. Unleaded is now 70.95 and Super 73.45. 4 rupee drop in price across the board, an attendant informed me.
