I went to these guys to fix some scratches on my car.
This was my second visit as my earlier one was good which i went with the reference from OP.
The above mentioned people are not directly associated with the workshop now , but run by some new faces .But i was made to believe that they are still associated.

I had some scratches on the front and rear bumper of my car and a scratch on the front door .These were just scracthes which were gifted by the city traffic.

I was told that they will paint both the bumpers and door, as touch up will not work on metallic paints.I wanted to do an underbody wash as well .so the whole job was fixed for 4.5k as they were arguing that metallic paints are expensive.

I was told the car will be given the next day afternoon and later told that they need a day more to do the polishing and want the paint to be dried throughly.

When i called afternoon i was told that they need some more time to do washing and the car will be ready by evening 5.30. By the time I reached the workshop it was raining mercilessly and the light faded so much so that i could not check the car completly and my parents were also with me .I paid the amount and took the car.

The next morning when i checked the car I was schoked to see that these guys have done a shoddy job. The bumpers were not painted for which i paid , instead it was touched up ,rubbed and polished .The minute stone chip marks are still there in the bumper which could have gone if they had it painted.
So is the rear bumper, they just touched up and polished which is now two tone ,older paint slightly faded.

There was a single scratch on my door.These guys tried to paint the lower portion and blended it with the top. Now there are so many ditches and sopts in the door and a new hairline scratch running the entire breadth of the door.

I called the guy who did the job, claims to be an exgulf with lots of experiece and asked is this what he meant by painting three pieces (2 bumper and door) entirely for which I have paid. He was trying to argue that he has done the painting and later told that he clear coated the three parts in full.
He told me that he will fix it up if I'm disattisfied.

I have a feeling that its just pathetic attitude and breach of trust.He took money from me saying that he will paint the entire thing and did a job that just values less that 2k and kept the car for three days to make an impression that he is painting the entire panels.

I just feel cheated.Again I have to go back to him to get these fixed which I think he will not be able to do.

Hi Pramod,

Do you know good paint job shops in Cochin or Bangalore. I'm basically from Kozhikode and looking to do some paint works for my city. I always maintain my car stock, the paint even. But have the scenario and feel like this would look good with a paint job, as it is some scratch and dent on Bonnet.

Google search gives 2 decent options - RCD and concept colours.
Has anyone tried these places? Or is there any other good options available?
