Guys in Trivandrum, can you all please suggest trusted fuel stations in and around Trivandrum.

The COCO pump at Thonnackal is good, but too far away for regular fillups.

I use the KI George pump at Pattom mostly, good service and decent fuel quality.

Please pour in your suggestions/experiences.

1. Kesavadasapuram - opposite the st.marys school
2. The COCO pump opposite CCD @ Kowdiar

I regularly fill-up at the BP pump adjacent to CCD at Kawdiar, and no complaints so far.
In case someone is aware of all the COCO pumps in Trivandrum, do post it here. Would be really helpful

I do my diesel fill ups regularly from the BP CO Pump at Thonnakkal :thumbs up The place is good !

COCO! Ok ok. I googled up only to be redirected to a Team-BHP post for the expansion of COCO - company owned company operated.

Now, to the topic, I have a feeling that the Bharat Petroleum pump opposite to St. Mary's school, near Big Bazar, Kesavadasapuram, returns good mileage. This I have noticed in more than one occasion in more than one car, but always forget to take the readings specifically. So, I do not have numbers to support yet, but I think one of you can just try that place once and find out if I am wrong. I am not a tvm-ite, but I am a regular visitor and I have filled up from many other places too. And, I dont know if it is COCO or not.

IOL pump on byepass at Muttathara (my daily fill-up) towards Kovalam.

IOL pump near Infosys, Kulathoor (?) on byepass to Karyavattom-Technopark

Though I do not doubt the quality of the fuel from this pump, I now have serious doubts regarding the quantity. I used to fill up my Figo with the DTE around 60 kms, and while filling up from this pump, almost always the amount of fuel that goes in till cut-off used to be ~43 litres (Figo tank capacity is 45L). There have been instances when the fuel dispensed have crossed 45L, and that too not upto brim, but cut-off. But in the same scenario, most of the other pumps (Hyderabad, Bangalore etc.) will be dispensing only around 40L.

Before going into quality and quantity questions, let me get the more basic availability question straight:

Where can I fill up Auto LPG in Trivandrum city? Which one would be the nearest from Sreekaryam area?

Thanks, I'm aware of both these pumps but they are too far away for regular fill ups. I was hoping something new might have come up closer.

The pump opp General Hospital. I have tried few of the pumps around including the one next to CCD Kowdiar, but this one has given me the max return on the fuel (both petrol and diesel).

The reason I say this is coz I get about 2kmpl additional to the other pumps for my Ikon. I live in the city, so not much of a drive either. I also practice filling up early in the morning or late evenings (at all pumps). Dont know if that makes much of a difference, but that's my normal habit now. Of course when you are travelling outside the city/state, one might not always be able to stick to this plan.

I have aslo found the one opposite to Azad (at Vazhuthecadu Jn) to be good as well.

Hope this helps.

Regards
Bugs.

The ones I generally fill up (according to the frequency in descending order):

1) SupplyCo (indian oil), Statue - Fuel is supposedly good and this is where I fill most of the times. Satisfactory and no issues till date. The premises is pretty small though and usually the rush is very high during the peak hours! They know what auto cut-off means thankfully, which is a great thing to me :P

2) Arvind fuels, eanchakkal (indian oil) near Hilton Hyundai showroom - Used to be good but right now I'm a little doubtful about the fuel quality and the staff have no idea regarding auto cut-off and stuff.

3) COCO, Thonnakkal - Always preferred if I hit the NH. Awesome premises, the whole process is quick and you'l get the bill fast, unlike most other pumps.

4) BP opposite General Hospital - I go here if all other three are not possible

Cheers!

1. BP Thonnackal.
2. BP Kawdiar.
3. BP Kesavadaspuram.
4. BP Between Nalanchira & Mannanthala.
5. IOC Statue.
6. IOC Pattom

IOC pump at mannanthala, M.C road . Very good experience as far as quantity and quality is concerned . Good service also . IOC( COCO) near Infosys also fine . COCO of BPCL near thonnakkal NH 47 also good . George s' near St. marys' also good though only filled diesel from there .

@ Jayded, I second that!
I've used this pump forever, for both petrol & diesel. Lately - first I noticed this, must've been sometime Q2 2013 - I've started suspecting the actual quantity.
Anyone else, in the club?
