Along with our regular cars, I got 2 of my 'Euro'cars serviced at Tune Up Plus in the last 3 months.

1) Mercedes E200 W212 - Since this car is gently used and we trust Mr. Lonkar's work, we got it serviced here. As usual, work done was good without any unnecessary additions which I used to face at the Authorized dealer. No issues as such and as I said it is lightly used.

2) Mini Cooper Countryman - This is my daily driver and heavily used on site and also outstation trips. I used to get it serviced at Bavaria Motors, the authorized dealer in Pune. Had no complaints with them, but Mr. Lonkar is more accessible for me and got it serviced here.

Both times, it was just regular servicing. Both time I appreciated Mr. Lonkar's personal attention and involvement in it and no addition of 'extra useless additions' which I always got at the authorized centers like 'premium windshield washing fluid' for Rs.1000 etc. Pricing was very reasonable.

In addition, my friend got his BMW X1 and 3 series done here and he too is happy.

Is there any good service center for automobiles in and around the PCMC. I stay around Pimpri and therefore traversing all the way to Baner etc can be tiring at times, more so since I prefer to wait and then drive back.
Though it seems that a lot many service centers have opened up around the Baner area.

I have been going to a FNG called Shantai Auto Works (between Jagtap Dairy and Kalewadi phata chowks) for the past several years to service my Scorpio. It's a small, no frills place, but the owner is a competent guy and to date I have no complaints. He is more of a Mahindra specialist, but works on other vehicles also. If you want to talk to him, his number is 97634 37744 (Surendra Manjare).

Reviving the sleeping thread.
Anybody has recent experience with Tune-up guys, worth sharing here?

I am thinking of giving my Nexon Diesel first time outside Tata ASC for one problem I am facing.
Have shortlisted Motofyx, Wakad and Tune-up.

Want to know your opinion, preferably based on own experience.

Did anyone get BMW530d serviced/repaired recently at Tune-up Plus? How was the experience?

I am going to recommend this place very highly. A combination of my personal driving style and TLC of the car coupled with the amazing work done by Tune Up team worked wonders for my Eon that was serviced regularly at Tune Up for past 9 years in to exchange for my Tata Harrier XZA+ Dark.

The dealership evaluator was unable to believe the car was 10+ years old on his test drive before making a offer to me. I was able to get approximately 60% of the original price for the car (the compliments on the way the car was maintained were the cherry on the cake).

Their methodical approach and the workmanship were always top notch all these years.
