re: Restoration of a NOMAD's 1954 Fiat Millecento- DELIVERED

How is it running with the headers and the twin choke carb? is it more peppy compared to a stock Fiat ?

The sound on the video is impressive !

Are exhaust mounted flame throwers illegal in India ? If not I can send you on and you can shoot a lick of flames out of the exhaust by hitting a button......goodbye to tailgaters forever !!!

I have posted the digital file for the template of the Data plate in the Decals information thread. You can have a look there. I had seen some variations in these plate, mine is original reproduction from the data plate of my car.

You mean to say the car needs a new data plate? How do you intend to fabricate one? But I reckon whoever can do the job will insist on fabricating more than one rather than a single one?

I have the flamethrower kit and can send it to you if you are really interested.

I also have the original data plate from my Fiat with me somewhere. Will dig it out and post a picture.

The format you posted is the correct one

Pavan,

I can help you with this if you wish. A good friend has contacts to some one in Bhopal, who makes replica data plates, specially for the Jeep restorers.

If interested I will get the details and I am told that he makes even one set on order. Needs the Art wortk - a good high resolution scan of the data plate and the data to be punched in

Best Regards & Drive/Ride Safe

Thanks and Best Regards

Ram

Ram anna,

I have already digitised the plate for the fiat. Just that it is in Autocad format and need to be exported to imaging softwares. The File is at this link.

Here is a snapshot from the autocad screen -

Also attached is my original data plate.

Pawan Please note that your cars Model name is not 103D so need to change that to 103E (if I am correct). Rest all will be same. These 103D/E was printed on the plate, as is visible on my scan.

Sagar, This car has 99% of all fittings ORIGINAL, The only few things its missing is

1) RH side Headlight aluminium ring
2) Choke lever
3) Chrome Bezel behind the switches

And yes, this car has the Air-box below the dashboard. And thats the original Air-Filter on the carb.

^^ Glad to hear about the originality factor of this Milicento, to be precise it should be 99.7% .
I am eager to know what material will be used to fabricate the duct of the air intake. Please do enlighten me on this.

Channagidhe saar! The rear especially looks superb (NO other lights btw!)

BTW, an idea reg. the front grille, you can hide the imperfections in the bars/slats by fitting a nice period AA badge over there (I have 1 or 2 I think! ), kinda like this:
