Thanks Car-Dent for appreciation.

Dont have the Breakup right now, but it costed me 24K for whole restoration. This includes Parts, Accessories, Painting, Denting & Mechanic Labour. Excluding Cost of the Scooter.

In that case, I think it's smart that you didn't add the floor runners. They definitely seem to be a rust prone area. I'll likely not drill new holes or install the runners on mine either.

Yes, i purposely didnt go for Floor Runners, considering Mumbai's humid weather & heavy monsoons. And, on top of this, i have an open parking.

So the scooter remains exposed to the elements, although i religiously put a cover on it. But somehow i was not confortable with floor runners as they can act as rust magnets once water is accumulated beneath the rubber stripes.

To avoid this scenario, i stayed away from them.

How have those MRF tires worked out for you? They seem like they would be great on "good" roads but am not so sure about on loose roads/gravel. Also, they are directional correct? What did you do for the stepney?

MRF Tyres are very good, they are tough as well as long lasting.

They are good on even roads, didnt face any difficulties on mildly rough roads. Yet to take scooter to Bad Roads. Will share once i experience.

Didnt quite get that query, can you please elaborate..!!

I have the Stepney Tyre, 1 old tyre was in very good condition, so kept it as spare. I found the original buddy seat plate, which used to come with Vespa. I will remove the Buddy Seat & keep plate only.

Need your advice:

Facing issues with Lights (Head, Parking, Meter & Handle bar Jewel Light).
Tail Brake Light is working fine, when Brake Pedal is pressed the Light Glows.

1. In Switch OFF Mode: All the Lights are ON.
2. In Switch ON Mode : All Lights are OFF

My Mechanic has tried all Permutations and Combinations, but with no Luck.
Can you guys suggest anything on this ? Awaiting your reply at the earliest.

As per manual, use SAE-30 oil of reputed brand like Shell, Castrol etc. I think the quantity is between 250-350 ml. The best way to determine this is to fill the oil with the scooter parked on a level surface. Once the oil starts coming out of the filler hole, it indicates that you need to stop. Many mechanics have this habit of leaning the scooter the other way so that the oil does not flow out and fill additional oil which I feel is not correct.

There is no need to experiment with the wiring. The wiring harness has wires of different colours. You need to connect them according to the wiring diagram given in the scooter's user manual.

I do not have the owner's manual for the Vespa 150. I do have one for the Bajaj 150. (There will be some difference in the wiring diagram as the Bajaj 150 does not have a handle bar jewel light.) Vespa 150 owner's manuals are easily available online.
