Nasik, a small sleepy city came to life with the beat of Jawas and yezdis on last Saturday.

Formed by a few enthusiasts, it was a pleasure to see Jawa and Yezdi owners gather and share knowledge with each other.

Although we had hoped to find more Yezdis attending the meet, it was a pleasant surprise to see a majority of Jawas

350 biker, awesome job buddy. Some well kept bikes there. Good to see you around and thank you for giving me a glimpse of Nasik after a long time. Hope you have many such meets, may be one for a Yamaha too !

Great guys. Keep this spirit alive for ever. Do plan meets once in a while and post us more pics. Wish this club grows bigger as time passes by.

Spikey, I am happy that you enjoyed the pictures. These were clicked at Mc Donalds, college road and we later went to Asaram Bapu bridge at Savarkar Nagar.

Our groups next ride is scheduled on 28th of this month where we have planned to bring in more bikes. The plan is to ride to Kashyapi Dam, Nasik. Will be posting the pictures once the ride is over.

Wow that's one neat Jawa Meet you folks had in Nashik. Never thought there would be some many immaculately restored Jawas in town. How are the general prices of Jawa in there? And also how is the availability of spares?

Spares availability is not a very encouraging scene, atleast in Pune. Now, with another club formed, I'm sure hoarding will drive prices wayyy up!

350biker, I'd like to meet up sometime. Will bring my Jawa down to Nashik for a shakedown ride.

Yes, we are planning to meet twice a month and our next meet is scheduled to be on the 28th of this month. Will be posting the pictures of the meet once complete.

Well Rahul, not only would the prices of Spares shoot up the selling prices will also automatically escalate. In a way this would be good if there are genuine motorcyclists but what suppose if one starts to exploit this in a commercial manner? That will hurt and damage the very spirit of motorcycling.

Yeah, I could see college road there (I used to "testdrive" my RX there very frequently ). The other place looked familiar but I was not sure if it was Savarkar Nagar.

Dear 350 biker - I wish I was in Nasik, although I don't own a Jawa / Yezdi, I would have loved to see the bikes and meet all of you. Good work done, please keep it going. By the way, I have procured a single parsi owned Mumbai regiatered (MRZ) 1967 Rajdoot in Pune. If you guys know any really reliable person, I would like to get it completely restored to its original glory.

Thank you for your kind words of encouragement. I am thrilled to have received this message. Please let me know whenever you plan to visit Nasik next and maybe we can arrange a small gathering of our group along with you.

Regarding the Rajdoot, one of my friends in Nasik will be starting the restoration of his Rajdoot 175 shortly and I will check with him. Are you planning to restore it in Pune or in Nasik?

Very nice to see these numbers of well kept Jawas and Yezdi. I too own a 1979 model Yezdi which I regularly use for neighbourhood runs. It is now due for a overhaul and paint work. My earlier regular mechanic has relocated.

Any suggestions on good Yezid mechanics in Hyderabad.

These bikes are beautiful. My fav has to be the Yezdi classic.

But in midst of all these beauties; lets not forget the men who ride them. These men are the real men. Ones with big hairy chests and a thick skull made out of solid titanium. Therefore; no need for helmets.

OOOOOOOOHHHHHH and lets not forget the flip flops. Such variety; such colors. Here's a big thumbs up to all those wearing flip flops. I will call these fashionistas "Flippies".

And lookie here; someone brought a kid. Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww.
