I WANTED THIS THREAD TO APPEAR UNDER "post war section" of "Vintage Cars & Classics in India". Please keep the original title that I gave to this thread. Many more things will be added like how to assemble engine, fix body parts in both video and pic format. So the present title dosent justify what is done in the thread and limits its scope to just a parts catalogue.

Looking forward to the complete restoration story. Really appreciate the fact that so much love is showered into old, forgotten machines, especially a bike like the Rajdoot 175 which I feel is very under-appreciated. I had fancied the idea of picking up a late 60's / early 70's Rajdoot around 10 years ago, when they used to go for scrap rates (in Kerala, from where I come). But my hands were full at that time with other projects and had to drop the idea altogether.

Seeing your pictures with the 115.xx.xxx numbered pictures, I also remember picking up a lot of old stock parts from a dealer in Northern Kerala when I had cleared out his godown full of RD350 and Rajdoot parts around 12 years ago (115.xx and 129.xx series). Since I gave up on a Rajdoot project, those parts also went away in due course of time to other enthusiasts.

I think you still have a good chance of finding parts up North where these bikes were sold in huge numbers.

I hope your thread moves fast and we get to see an amazingly restored Rajdoot 175 in factory specification! All the best!

Thats almost a new bike worth of parts you have collected in 1.5 year. Look forward to this thread for further updates.

I have almost all parts but just that old model cylinder is alluding me. If anybody can help me in procuring that, I shall be highly obliged. I am uploading pics of my used cylinder. I don't want to rebore it, so want unused old stock.
