Regards,
If its a twin, then it cant be a FURY. Fury was a 175 cc two stroke Zundapp single with optional F disc brake.

I'd seen the same scoot early this year (around January) at that place once and never imagined that someone would ever actually feel like buying it-even at that price!

This incidentally reminds me of a seires 1 "chestlight" lambretta I'd seen in a much more 'complete' state although rather rusty but restorable in Vizag a few years ago...it went to the local scrapman for around the same price (1k), which I couldve gladly paid myself! Now cant find one even though I'm ready to pay upto 10k!
But I hear the same scoot's now ended up with a bike collector here in hyderbad who claims to've got it for 60k from vizag in the same condition!

Oh its very ugly indeed. But as the award winning VW ad campaign said, "ugly is only skin deep".

The scooter used a 175cc Villiers engine, with floorboard mounted gear lever.

It's comforting to find people such as yourself enthusiastic about ye old marvels, else they would soon be extinct (from memory).
I recall seeing these as a teen in the Bangalore-70s. The other oddity was the Rajdoot scooter.

Someone on the thread mentioned a Fury: well, I owned and thoroughly enjoyed a blue one circa 1987, and chose it chiefly for the Brembo disc brake- a first in India at the time.

Good luck with your refurbishment.

@JayD, Wow, now this is what I'd ccall a truly FANTABULOUS scooter!

Where is this? In Kerala?

Btw, a little doubt here- whats the other foot-pedal for (circled in white?)

I know the one on the left is the gear-pedal, the rear brake's on the right.

Karl, any updates on your scoot??

One of the three is the brake lever, the next one is for the First gear, and the third one is for the other two gears! i feel they should have added two more levers, one for each gear! That would have been fun na??

The scooter is not in kerala, chetta. Its in delhi. i don't know the owner though.
