I am not sure whether it is a local conversion,because I remember seen a similar Safari during the 90's .also there were quite a few safaris in Trivandrum then. Also the location is Trivandrum Central railway station ,Thampanoor.
You seem to be a classic malayalam Movie buff ???

The one from the movie looked different from the Star line one to my eyes. Thought it is a local conversion job

Here's one of the later models posted recently on facebook. Survival rate of regular wagons is poor, these must be near extinct! Seems to retain the rare STARLINE script badge on the front grille. Can anyone help source me one for my car?

Isnt the logo bent ? From what I remember, the logo was straight.
