Guys , See what I have got for my Rajdoot GTS. The old original (used) E/L monogram. This is the same model supposed to be in my Bike and now i'm really happy that I got this one too.

Most probably post Audha Pooja the mechanical restoration project will be started for the GTS bike.

I'm postponding the paint job to later state as lack of time stops me doing it now.

Could someone tell me the fuel tank's capacity on a GTS? Also, by any chance is there any place I could get a manual for this bike?

I got my bobby restoration finally reaching the completion stage. The major things that have been done is to fabricate the tank's mouth. I got this precious gift (GTS Tank) from powertwin.

The tank cap(after market) was procured from Bangalore and the nickle plating and painting (bobby red from 2K) were all completed. In fact my GTS is now re-bored to 1st over size. The engine work is completed and all the other mechanicals are being assembled together. I'm planning to take delivery of my restored GTS on the Tamil Pongal day.

Though I have pending work of the pend pipe not fabricated (my original bend pipe is cut and welded like a box, the one I have fabricated are shrinked while turning the pipe into U shape, now the fabricators are asking me to produce the bike to get the bend pipe work done. hence waiting for the delivery date). After my bike's delivery I will work on the bend pipe fabrication and nickle plating to complete the vehicle into the stock level.

Default Rajdoot GTS mystry revealed

Guys,

Yesterday I was searching internet only to find the origination and design idea of Rajdoot GTS. What I can say after seeing the picture below is that Rajdoot design team had a chance to look at the model below and created their own bike something similar.

This picture really raising a question before me as the older theories stating Rajdoot GTS was created with the left out parts of Runabout and Rajdoot D175 becomes void. A 1968 (5 years before first Rajdoot GTS production) prototype from Poland based bike Romet with JAWA 50cc engine looked exactly the same looks of Rajdoot GTS.

Look at the picture for the Romet with Jawa pionyr 50cc engine prototype for Headlight, Frame construction, Silencer routing and Guard(my GTS originally got similar single piece guard), Seating etc.

Now I leave the picture to speak:

hmmm czech engine and poland's design a hybrid finds it's orgin back from Poland where WFM (original Rajdoot models) came from, here is another small boy from Poland fondly called Romet

Another one called Motorynka

Now the question, why in the earth someone starting thinking of designing a tiny bike for tall build adult. I guess poland people are not short and they are taller people, then why is this small bikes ?

May be in a day or two. There are some problems as the starting coil is not firing and I replaced them. But still no power, I guess now I need to look at the magnet for charge.

Other than that, the silencer's bend pipe and number plates are in pending state.
