Re: Rajdoot GTS "Bobby"

Hello All,

Is there any one here who has the following with him and can help me with the same:

Bobby Parts Catalogue
Bobby Owners Manual
Bobby Workshop Manual

I urgently require these. I will be glad to pay for them.

Photocopy or soft-scans both will do as long as they are legible.

Thanks

Saurabh

You are welcome to drop by and see it for yourself.
I have one parked on my driveway. Non-working but totally original.

Re: Rajdoot GTS "Bobby"

The bike was sandblasted this weekend - but a perfect out of time exercise....

I finished the sand blasting exercise, put the parts in the boot of my car and it hasn't stopped raining ever since....ooh how much of stress! Now the parts with my car are both at the workshop to get a coat of etc/epoxy primer in constant fear of being exposed to moisture and catch rust...this is just terrible.

Had a perfect day start with a lovely meeting with Anup Mathur who not only allowed me to take pics of the beautiful bike but was also gracious enough to let me take the silencer muffler (that small 3 inch long part at the end of the silencer pipe) to get it replicated. It was great meeting!

Thanks Glomus for your line of thought - wrote to Powertwin - he has promised to help too.

Am seeking help from all bhpians - if any one has the OE brake pedal please help me with it - need one.

Thanks

Re: Rajdoot GTS "Bobby"

Just found a pair of brand new fabricated pair of mudguards!
Expensive but good!

Also headlight domes.

A friend also gave me a restored spare engine.

Getting a full bike bearing guide. Does anyone have an oil seal size guide?

Have ordered a cylinder and piston

May get more parts!

Am trying to explore if I can get fuel tanks made on order.

Cheers

Re: Rajdoot GTS "Bobby"

Lot of progress has been made...

All chrome parts are chromed now...all nuts bolts and axles have been cadmium plated and the body parts have all been etch primed...

Discovered a crack in the footpeg rod and that's being fixed now.

Also the muffler core for all 3 of my Bobbies has been made and now is in zinc plating..

Here are some update pics.

Thanks

Saurabh
