Trammway, that's a very well restored GTS. Do you still get the tyres in the correct size, or is it a common size?

Here is the complete pictures of the Bobby as I promised. I am getting tempted with this LITTLE WONDER and would insist him to give it to me.

Tank Lid Modified

I am completely spellbound by the kind of GTS's figured here remember my love for them started when saw one belonging to a doctor at the Government dispensary at Mumbai. I have managed to get my hands on one recently and it sure is one of my proudest possessions. Lot of work required on it and looking forward to help from all the GTS gods here.
Will post pics as soon as possible.

Why why. The previous owner has used a Rx 100 fuel tank cap. If anyone here in the foroum could please guide me how to get the orignal look back would really appriciate the help.

Old pal coming home

Here is the Old pal (One of my Old GTS) which I've sold to on of my friend got restored miraculosly with in a month, bike need few more things to be done however I appreciate the efforts he has put in to restore this fellow.

The tank was completely gone while removing the tank I pulled it up after removing the nuts I couldn't believe my eyes my both fingers crumbled/tore the bottom of the tank that how the condition was, luckly we got a complete set of tank with the plates.

The biggest shock for us was there was piston missing and the bore got cracked . Somehow we over came all the obstacles and here is the before and after restoration of the vehicle. Even my boy the one in the red mingling with the decked up dude.

Super job there, Chanu!
You're very close now; all you need are the emblems/badges, the chain cover and the tail lamp cover!

The spare wheel carrier is also missing.

for the tail lamp cover try some old Mahindra Jeep spares shops as I have seen some Mahindra jeeps with similiar cover on the front.

Thanks guys! your feedback adds up 4 inches of smile on to my face. Yup Badges! I am finding it a tuff/hard nut to crack. Tail lamp I am also encountering bad luck in this regard, old mahindra covers are also had to find. Does anyone has the spare chain cover or any picture of it so I can re construct it. The spare wheel carrier is at the paint shop need to get it fixed mostly by this weekend. What else folks! trust me its a joy to ride this bike is sure a looker/head turner esp with kids for its size!

You could get a rear view mirror/s fitted for the sake of safety. The Bobby used to be sold with one RVM.

Chanu sir,

This is called beauty......sure its an head turner, I had the similar response while driving mine around.
Let me try to replicate the chain cover for you but have to wait till 1st week of April, when I am back, let me try with my mechanic, if you find one before, its OK.

Cheers and congratulations

Thanks Girishpv, its a genorus offer from you I am honoured, Please take your time I need to make it for my red GTS also. I dont think I will get one here as I've not see any on the bikes. I am planning to get the red one also done to a next level resto sometime later once I get my Lammy which is due soon. Wish me luck guys!!

Regarding the rear view mirror I was concerned as the bike is low the mirrors I have are from RX100 the ALPHA TOYO brand and it might cause hinderance in traffic if not I have no issues in fixing to these bikes.

Dear Chanu - for the tail light lens, try the reverse light lens of Premier Padmini. I think it is the same size.

Good job done there, congratulations.

Best regards,
