It's a Vespa VBB 150 (judging from the frame, the 8'' wheels and the charactaristic headset). The spare-wheel at the legspace plus the pseudo-tank above it remind distantly on a Supersprint 90, but that one was a smallframe-vespa (similar to the indian PL170). See the picture for comparison...

We had a Lamby when i was a kid. Just for curiosity i checked the Kerala MVD site and it still remains in my fathers name. We had given it for repairs to one garage long ago and the garage guy shut shop one fine day. I still remember all the primer work was over and was awaiting paint job at that time. The vehicle number was KRF 267

Older Bajajs, particularly the Chethak, are popular with a 'certain' crowd. Quite a few, painted in dazzling colours and bling-ed up, zoom about with loud exhausts and thick smoke.
Vespas and Lambys aren't exactly easy to come about. The Vespa 150 can be spotted occasionally, but the Lamby is almost extinct. Most of the Vespa 150 numbers that I've spotted are with unassuming old gentlemen.
