Continuing from where I stopped..

Now see these rear and front door panels.

The engine bay gets its job done

This was what was done in the engine bay.
note the top left end and the right end corner below, where you can see the pieces missing, appeared cut out.
A portion of the fire wall and the air vent was removed from the original car from here...

And transplanted, thus.

On the inside too, these changes meant, extra holes in the right places to accomodate the various modifications made, keeping originality in mind. Note the round cut made to accomodate the air vent.

On its way to becoming this...I hope!!

I now wait for comments and suggestions as always.
Please keep them coming. Will post Wurth process pics soon. No work done today due to bad weather conditions.!! What the heck, the team does deserve a break

Hi Ajay, the front door is indeed opening on the original side. This particular model did not have suicide doors.

Thank you Kiran.
Ajay, this model if you notice this model is a mix between the rounded fintail type Delite(the front) and the newer non fin typr back 1100/D.(the rear), hence this model came without suicide doors. Tis model also came with many oddities due to its metamorphosis from the rounded to a more squarish type of body. I will point them out as the progress goes on. Keep a close watch onthis thead.

Thanks everybody for the appreciation and interest shown in this project. Please keep suggestions and tips flowing.

My Grand Papa use to have Fiat but sold before my birth, seen her in one junk yard in my native during my recent visit.
Dont have enough funds to restore that beauti :(.
Any one wants this beauti or amby or Standard Herald or Gazal PM me ill arrange to get them from my native, plenty of them are resting in peace from last 20-30 years.

Thanks Ed
Its great to have so many enthusiasts giving inputs.
The colour you have posted is the colour my paint guy also advised me for, only the top he said should be black, but I found this colour to bling. So I settled for the blue greyish shade. Of course the final selection is yet to be done hence im relying on friends like you to help me out.

awesome tin work boss...can barely see the seams and gaps....beautiful work....just make sure you choose the right paint scheme and an awesome paintshop to do justice to the bodywork....cheers!!

P.S. Whats the best solution for keeping the noise of the doors slamming to the minimum on these old warlords?? the doors are rough and loud aren't they? plus maintaining the seams and gaps...
