This dark blue metallic colour is amazing .. looks decent, sobre and yet gracefull.

Also have a look at those bucket seats (try buying NE 118 bucket seats) and wide tyres with alloy wheels (looks awesome)

I think this is the one you should role model your car on.

Hail Fiat India .......... please atleast for your fan's sake Fiat .... rise from the sunset.

The Remnants of the 1100. The Skeleton...............The car was really in a bad shape as you can see, hence had to go for a body snatch...oops swap.

Wow, she has come out excellent Sirji!! I earlier had dobuts about the front end would turn out until I saw these pics.!!
One thing, although you may remember, take off the dash switches (centre bottom), the fuel tank lid with the badge and also the original roof gutter trims (sides) from this car ASAP.....they are just as important!
by the way, looking at your pics. of the cut out firewall, I can see traces of red paint under the maroon, so this car was obviously wine red with maybe a black roof...?
More on your photos later....

@V-16 - have you thought about the tyres and alloys? any update on the electronic fan & radiator, alternator (in terms of availability and cost)?

radials and alloys are a big no no at this stage id say...whitewall crossplies (Ceat Safety Drive...OE fitment) will look the part, and stainless steel 14 inch embellishers will make a world of a difference...if you can find them! there are some in chor bazaar, insists on 5k for 4!

EDIT...silly me, you already have them...Shouldve have guessed since I know who the previous owner was...!

Metallic Blue from Techno's post with a White or silver top!
But use Dupont paint system, its better than standox. You've seen my Chevy finish.

Hehehe I took that risk and it worked but surprisingly there are more votes for a colour we did not think of choosing in the first place.

Gogiji, I think u should seriously think before giving a BLUE-WHITE or BLUE-SILVER Combo.......

Because, in inappropriate light conditions, some people might confuse it with a Cool Cab. The photos below will illustrate my point to an extent. So voted for wine red

Lol.. I think salil has a point Gogi!
My vote goes to the midnite blue (assuming this is the darker shade) - white combo!

Im strongly against a silver roof with any colour combo...cool cabs nonwithstanding...it isnt period for a small fiat...a larger american car perhaps...never a european...

I still prefer Maroon & Cream!

P.S. But then I'm biased towards Red colour anyways!
