Thanks! Registered on 22nd Jan 1973 is all it said in the old RC- exact manufacturing year was definitely before that so possibly end of '72.

The select would've been atleast a decade older than the President so yours would have been re-registered later (after moving from another state) with an MEQ series, definitely not an original number (Bangalore had only MYB series in the early 60s).

We have a Jan 1973 Premier President with the MEQ Series number plate which has done about 110,000 kms. Contemplating to sell it off as my Dad does not drive much these days. Any idea what might be a good price for these kind of cars to quote when trying to sell?

Post a few pictures, interiors, engine bay etc, also what's the status of documents ?

Happy to inform that MEQ 200 which has a nice history documented on this thread is now my prized possession . I had to convince Mr . Srivatsa by calling him several times after I saw the car few months back to get it into my hands. I understand that it was not an easy decision for him to part with it as this car was with him since new when his father bought it and handed it over to him.
One fine day I was lucky be enough to get a call from Mr.Srivatsa that he was ready to give the car to me and fixed a date to take delivery of it.
As Planned me and my father who is still a car enthusiast at age 82 went to take delivery of the car. Mr. Srivatsa handed over the car as promised along with its original documents and Owner's manual after finishing the formalities . It should have been an very emotional moment for him to part with it which was his baby for so long.
I am fortunate to buy this original car from a nice owner who had maintained it so well.
I would do my best to keep the car in the best possible condition and also update the thread as and when required.

Hello Experts,

Grateful if someone could provide some guidance on a the ideal price for a 74' Premier President. Car seems to have seen some rough weather and would need some restoration but has most original bits intact. Also, anything in particular to watch out for?

Helped a friend pick up this 1972 President recently, it came for reselling through the local scrap person who specialises in Fiats and due to the good relation I have with him and his staff it was offered to me first and as goes the saying " Early bird gets the worm " got the car. Have the original horn button and grille logo, yet to fit them.
