:) hi there, i am relatively new to this site and i am not sure as to how you would reply.

well, to begin with i came across your article in india today's special edition "simply bangalore" and i simply fell in love with the beetles.

i recollect couple of names from that article-Mr.narendra raj and Mr.vikram aditya, though i dont know who is who from the picture. but its that article which prompted me to find out more about beetles and here i am at the end of my quest.
i am presuming you to be the same narendra raj as in that article-if i am wrong, please accept my apologies.
i also saw all your great pictures with the "beetles"
i must say, "Old is Gold"

i have some great pictures of cars but i dont know how to send them.
please guide me.

Would like to inform that the Bangalore Beetle Club is celebrating its Ist year Anniversary with the CEO of Volkswagen-Germany (Mr Prince) this 20th.

As you guys must be aware that 21st of Jan is the official launch of the VW showroom in Bangalore and the Launch of Passat.
We the BBC'ites are invited for a pre-publicity rally for the VW.

We are flagging off from VW showroom at Hosur road on the 20th and heading to some hotspots in Bangalore, later which would be our Annivesary innoguration.

Hope the Bug lovers are listening, Kindly reply if you own a BUG.

Will update later about the fun we had.

Yep, noticed you got the bumpers back on last week

Got a quite a bit of stuff done.

Rebuilt the carb, adjusted valve clearances, did the timing. I reupholstered the drivers seat in the original black basket weave. Just started on the pass side this evening. Will finish it tomorrow.

I need to get the wheels aligned and balanced. Any recommendations of good placed near whitefield/marathahalli/ring-road or even Indiranagar?

Anyone have the beetle muffled tailpipes for sale or trade? Or know if they are avail locally? I'd like to quieten my car by replacing the "sports" style non-muffled tailpipes that are on it currently.
