This probably is the wrong place for this - but if my Padmini morphed into this over night I would be well pleased.....

I walked into a small automobile parts shop and purchased following items for my left hand drive fiat and my other fiats - OFF THE SHELF. Nasik continues to be a treasure trove of fiat parts. Feast your eyes guys.

Yup those are new (maybe not brand new) repro handles in chrome.
Ive a full set with me too.
These are slightly heavier than the original ones that came in aluminium only.

Get a Fiat Logo, please. It kind of looks tooth-broken without it.

The old aunty who had the car has lost hope long time ago!! I made her listen to the exhaust last time and she was like "Dikra, it is very noisy. What have you done!!" So i explained to her that i had changed the muffler etc..etc... I passed her yesterday, she now drives a Palio Stile. I was at a junction and believe it or not, she stopped in the middle of the road and i could see her mouth drop when she saw the car.

The inspiration no doubt was from the Ascari A10 and the BMW M3 from Mr & Mrs Smith. I have always loved offset stripes on any car. I have always wanted to do this, and when i discovered how easy it was to spray paint, i decided tto have a go. There was ALOT of frustration, alot of irritation...but i finally got it done!! And it looks AWESOME!!

Wow what a find, Behram. On this very topic, I would need your valuable advice / guidance - Typically, what are the parts I should stockpile for future use in my '62 Fiat ?? I've got the following: Front parking lights (new, from sweet trade). Tail lights (ditto), side patties, side indicators, emblems, and rear "fiat 1100" letters (chor bazaar). Outer door handles - a shop at santacruz has promised to get me. (NOS). I think I'll need a new grille, headlights, number plate lights, and wipers.
Any idea if the chrome toggle switches on two sides of the dash are available ? Also, most importantly, rubber beadings for the front and rear windscreens, and for the quarter glasses - where will these be available ? Anything else I've missed ? chiefly mechanical parts, and area I'm still very new to..
Thanks !
