Todays Update.

The final piece of bodywork was being done today when i went to check up on the car. The bodywork is now done.
The bondo was being applied and the tedious smoothening processs now begins.
Here are a few pics.

Also, Noticed a very queer looking fiat today.

I saw a metallic blue soft top Fiat on Bannerghatta road with the top down today.
He was driving very fast so could not get a closer look, wonder if such a model existed or it is a sawn off affair.

If it was a body style similar to the Fiat 1100s we know, it is definitely a sawn off affair, otherwise the 1100 cabrio was offered elsewhere, with a very different body though. Here is a chop top example from elsewhere on the forum.

The side trim is modelled on a 1100 delux. A replica no doubt, though well executed. Infact Im trying to get them made for a future project.

I told dad long ago to make one of these .Anyways did you see how the side trim becomes the Delite/Select type on the front Fendors

The Trim is wrongly executed. It is upside down. These were originally fitted on Italian Fiats that had a super select grille but delite roof.
