Guys, I can hardly see any holes. You gotta see the VW Karl restored and most of all Gogi's Fiat! I agree there were hardly any holes in those as well because there was no sheet metal left at all to have any nonsense like holes and rust.

This is an old car and thankfully from Pune else you would have ideally seen how holes look like .

Oh well, when I first heard about the 'holes' I expected a lot more. What we see here doesnt seem to be much considering the fact that this is a 'restoration'.

Believe me, this is just a tip of the Iceberg. But as Steer and oralfibre says in a restoration project, this maybe something we should expect. Nay?

Hello!!! The car as we see above, has had 20 days of work behind it with all equipment and expertise that could be mustered by the poor sods! The condition of the car when stripped down, was pathetic++! Photos of these will be uploaded at the earliest.

So,since the work has progressed beyond what we see here(as you were talking today morning to one of your tinkering crew),the car looks much better than above.

The meters come from Mysore via courier, Ajay collects it passes on to jkdas, jkdas passes it to Nikkibike.

Bodywork completed and new chassis ready. Engine and other mechanicals will now be fitted to get the mounting points rights before they are removed again for painting.

Now we get into the details. This is going to be the tough part.
