Premanand

Mr. Premanand in Goa is a really nice gentleman!

He has these VW vans and beetles under restoration. He is not a commercial kind of person but very passionate. Most of his workers had gone back to UP and Bihar during eid and diwali so he was working on these machines on his own.

He loves to bring these machines up. Invests a lot of time energy effort and money on the cars put up on the chopping block at the kabari walas and gets the parts and in some cases full cars from there for spares. Infact one of the beetle parked there is only to be chopped and cannibalised for body spares.

Its a pleasure spending time with him. He loves it and so do you.

I had the pleasure of spending an hour with him during my recent Goa visit post diwali.

Kudos to Premanand for keeping the spirit alive.

His 2 sons are not into this business. This is his father's business and he is keeping it alive.

So lets keep it going for him!

Cheers!

Lovely Lovely van. Just wish they are around for many more years to come. Since the Beetle has been revived VW got any plans for the VW LoveVan?

Daiiiiyymm ! you got some sharp observation skills my boy. I saw the White and Black case. Missed the blue box on the bench.

Looks like you had all the tools to be in the 70s spaced-out frame of mind to rebuild this Van.

Looks very similar to my VW, only the tail lights differ-while mine is oval and the front indicators are below the headlight.

Can we have some more day pics of this van and also its interiors. Would help me immensley.
