Hey I've seen this car off and on, but are you sure she's unattended ? I travel to alibag quite often, and sometimes she's not there.
Will surely check and ask around next time, very very tempting !!!

This is a good candidate for a donor for your car!! Though the body line seems to be quite bad. Also, it seems that the side trims on this car have been fixed crooked! Recent butchered up paintjob???

Ravi's car is so much better than this one. What could it possibly donate? It doesn't look exciting to me.

Ravi and others, any pics of todays meet? Especially the new 57 that joined?

Ravi needs Original bumpers. His bumpers are not original and in bad shape anyways.

Cyrus his bumpers are original. I would have bought that car only for those superb bumpers (if Aditya had told me he was selling!). They just need chrome.

And on the contrary if you look carefully, the rear bumper on the green car is non original.

Bumpers !

God, you guys sure are gurus, I need to learn a lot !!
No pics of today's meet, about 15 of us met at Parsi Colony, chatted for an hour, and left. (I was rather looking forward to breakfast at Koolar & Co).
The rains played spoilsport, most didn't get their fiats. Plus the Ganesh Visarjan and road diversions made us run for cover much faster than we imagined !
Karl, the 57 elegant is actually quite buggered up. The guy needs to do a lot of work, including change the shocking paint scheme. (will take pics one of these days.) The only saving grace is he's really committed, and will learn, what with so many gurus on board.. !
Ah yes, the car has small headlights.

Nope! The bumpers are not original and dad has confirmed this.

News boys, news.
The bumpers are indeed original. They do differ a bit from the regular super select bumpers one sees, (my car has longer overriders than most others). This did make me wonder if they were original, but the clincher came when I saw the jay leno video.
Guess what, his car has similar long overriders !
Yes ! YYess !!!

Not only that the bumpers also if you notice are more curvy at the centre (almost like padmini bumpers are) rather than the nearly flat ones of the local 1100s with an outward indent dividing it along the centre.

A superb 55 has made a recent entry in our circles, and here she is. Completely original down to the impossible to find headlights and bakelite interior fittings. Whatever is missing is in the boot

The car has an outstanding engine and gearbox, tuned to precision by an eccentric genius over a period of 8 years. The body is the cleanest I have ever seen, untouched and original. Less than 500 grams of lambi was used in the painting process in 98! Minor cosmetic attention is required.

Indeed she is. Ronnie is in trouble, the car is currently in my possession and I doubt I'll let go of it
