i will update the pictures soon all the cars are under restoration leaving the 450 slc.

Navs Mini is featured in this months Auto India Magazine, Just happened to see the mag at Karan's pump. Nice review too.
Caught this Mini being driven rather hard by a smiling Gentleman in New Bombay.

Just saw this outside my Gym and I am speechless!! :)

That's a fiarly recent 1992 Rover mini 1.3i (fuel injected). Great one there can we get the engine bay pictures and clearer interior shots. I am onto building a 1:12 scale model of the same.
Hi maximuzz!!
Have seen this Mini being driven rather enthusiastically quite a lot of times in panchkula. Its always driven by a young turbanator. Thanks for the pictures. Was always looking for clicking it and posting.
It seems the owner is in a habit of breaking the traffic laws. Have seen him driving at illegal speeds and now he's been clicked in the no parking zone.

I will try to since the owner is not known to me. Lets keep our fingers crossed.
Hi,
The following pics were sent to me by a friend. Spotted close to MG road in Bangalore sometime ago. Apologize for the picture quality.
Regards,
Srinand.

Original Austin / Morris. Mini from the 60s. As I recall it was the first transverse mounted engine. Even the radiator was on the side. Apparently, electric cooling fan were not perfected and the fan had to run on a pulley off the crankshaft. Our pastor in old Delhi imported a green mini , one of the first to be seen . Compared to the mini, an Amby looked gigantic !
Saw this lovely Mini at a friend's apartment complex in Faridabad.
what kind of money are we looking at incase we want to buy a mini in India.

Brand new around Rs 40 lacs on road depending on which city. Fourteen years ago a friend showed me a 1959 Austin Mini which was lying in his garage. The owner was then asking for 1.5 Lacs. Today, even if one were to get one and if that were actually available, Im guessing that it wont leave you much change from 12-15 lacs. Depending on the condition of course. Whichever way it gies, thats going to be a rather expensive rust bucket.
