Re: Classic Volkswagens in India

^^ Thanks!

First time I spotted this car around 10 years back @ same location. Last sunday on my way back from Peenya just went inside this premise to check whether the beauty is still available. To my surprise it was inside the same garage.

gave her a nice wash, may be after so many decades of garage rest, and here are some pictures,i cudn't find any thing non original other than the running boards, the heat vents in the floor with the sliders are still in there place and slide very nicely, the glove box has a typical fit and the spring action is as good as it has to be, the glove box is not torn anywhere and is original card board types, all lenses are Hella-Made in Germany.the floor and the insides of the mudguards are perfect and no signs of rust or age,may be the non moist african weather is to be thanked and so is the first owner, who sadly passed away in 80's rest of the family was abroad, and didn't know the car was there in there native village, when they planned to sell the house, and opened it up after many decades, they were surprised to see the VW in there, some african pics too, will post them soon.Came with a set of cylinder kit
