Spotted this Beetle yesterday:
Spotted yesterday by my friend Sooraj at the Maddur CCD
Recently, I had been to Goa for a VW Classic cars meet(below 1990).
Many cars from allover India had come to the meet. From my count at least there were about 30 cars. Ranging Models from 50s to 90s(Beetle, Soft Top Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Split, Bay, Bay westfalia & T3).
Some drove all the way from their Homes to attend the meet. One Beetle from Coimbatore covered 2220 km ‘to & fro’ without any problem. I drove my T3 Caravalle from Bangalore to Goa & back.
The meet was well thought & organized. The meet went for two days which we all felt it was over before it started. Accommodation(very nominal cost) made for us was a perfect spot where, just walk few steps we would land on the Beach. Way back we got some very useful Goodies from the organizers.

Yes its mine :-) If you look for my posts on this thread earlier, you will realise what a transformation its been.
She's been restored by Kaizad Engineer of Nicki Garage at Lamington road in Mumbai. They specialise in vintage and classic cars. The Bristol which won an award at the Cartier show last year was one of their jobs.

Congratulations. I had spoken to him for my Premier Padmini restoration but he seemed least interested in the work . Hes done a good job. Did you buy the car or its been in the family for years ?

Did you do any modifications like AC ?
Was this car parked at Inox Nariman point parking under the covers recently like 2 months ago ? I used to see it daily on my way to work when i parked over there.
Spotted at Mumbai Santacruz, VW bus.
