Pavan,

You got a good one there! I really like the looks and the feel the pleasure of driving it after passionately restoring it. You might want to send some pictures and the journey of restoration to VW-Germany.

Good job done! Admire the passion, Happy Motoring!

Inder, those pics were taken by the FCB guys, they are crazy

The original ignition assembly is missing and i could not find one.. so i had to modify this part and placed one conveniently on the dashboard. Maybe sometime later i might change it back to Original...

Hardly matters my dear, its a very minor thing, will keep an eye,for a good used one,we must (inc me) appreciate the glass filled rather than the part empty .its very easy to criticise, but very difficult to rebuilt or create some thing ,what you have done ,a great job,do share some pics of the engine bay

Very clean and DETAILED restoration.

Considering the conditions and the accesibility to technology and spares those guys have, yes its a Class Act.

What a place T-BHP is, Yesterday i had stopped the Bus at Electronic City yesterday night at around 11:15pm, our Member Kittigadu saw me and but could not stop due to the truck traffic, he came back, thinking i might need help, but i had done a small 5 min routine stop. By the time he came back, i had driven away, Unaware he was coming to offer help. Saw your pm Kittigadu. Thank you for the concern.

Some random pics, The Bus completes 36000 kms

FE of 9 kmpl is becoming a serious issue, with the way fuel prices have shot up
