Lovely clean job! The colours, the interiors all convey a sense of joy. I didn't know much about VW microbuses but now I'm definitely a fan.

Thank you buddy,

Yes the last 5% of work will actually drain you out, anyways will wrap it up within a weeks time.

AND the UPS, he he.... My mom wants to have a nice cup of coffee or prepare a quick meal using a coffee maker and a electric heat table when on a picnic, for her satisfaction and requirement i'am getting a 90 amps batterey and a 900VA UPS.

Always remember one thing, build your passion on automobiles around your family's taste and requirement, you atleast get the chance to own some small time collection of classics.

Like e.g., My bro loves LHD, and my wife loves to catch some sleep when on a long drive and my Mom loves big spacious car. AND at the end of it ---My requirement of owning a classic becomes a reality.

Ha ha ... too much. No buddy. I just do it as it comes, i must appreciate my team who works around my Time frame and Budget.

Thanks for the compliment, Just that last elusive 1% job thats pending is sure going to make my life miserable (DETAILING)

The Bus will be running all around Jayanagar and Rajarajeshwari Nagar this weekend, so dont be surprised if you spot me, with the yellow/white TANK.

Hi Folks,

Today i can officially announce that the Microbus Restoration complete.

1) Mechanicals are 100% Fit and in running order.
2) Cosmetically it needs attention, which will be done over the period of time.

I can now relax over this project and spruce it up with my own will and wish. Done almost 100 kms run-in today , dropped and picked up my kid from school. went around buying grocery to home, without a reason went and filled in Fuel, went to my tinker for some minor work, and must say the Bus runs really well.

One pic shows the LOUD SOUNDING JALWA HORNS fixed below

Tomorrow perform one puja and again drive around Bangy this weekend. Ah... relief finally.

Had some tough time today just trying to catch my kid running all along the bus, she seems to have made a home for herself in the Bus-- Satisfaction== PRICELESS.

Some pics

Congrats Pawan, Now you have 2 from the VW family and I read a Jeep restoration by you too.

Guess you need to fix the number plates as the final final touch to the MicroBus .

So taking a break now or have something in hand to start with.

Yes, thanks buddy,

Only just now i am feeling i am owning the Bus after almost 5 long years of wait and 2 long years of restoration.

Presently i have other outside projects at hand, so no stopping. But no cars for me for some more time. :<

Thanks kannan,

Well i need to get new tyres ON and front winding glasses did not arrive yet.

RTO formalities will take some time, FC validity expired a year ago.

Weekend drive will be mostly around South Bangalore.

Stupendous effort, the satisfaction of realising a dream and one that a whole family can enjoy, is priceless.

Even at stand still the bus make me think of one thing only - Tripping 24/7

Enjoi...
