Whose car is it? Must be some big shot.I am from Kidderpore so I guess ,I might be knowing the owner.
Sorry, the guy I was reffering to has a Fiat 124 spyder in Calcutta getting repaired in Khidderpore somewhere. So that makes it 2 Fiat 124s in Kolkata.

I think this is the same car which with a sardar form Juhu scheme, he owns all types of cars...mostly semirestored..read junk all lying in his bunglow behind Amitabh's old bunglow. He had this car up for sale in 1998/99 it was red with same after market wheels. He had advertised it for 3lacs and it was in decent running shape I saw it but lefthandrive was a bit impractical for me in Mumbai traffic..I guess it went to Kolkata

It is a 124 coupe and he had an orignal I think ANSA or some such similar Italian chrome dual pipe aftermarket exshaust.

Nice bodyline. Reminds me of the Ferrari 250GT.

Dont like the colour choice. Should have picked Ferrari Red.

Hi,

I have a 124c BC Coupe , which is the later version of the car in the pictures, which is the 124 AC Coupe -mne has 4 headlamps, but the same 1438CC twin Cam engine.

I am restoring the car and would appreciate any help / advice from my fellow petrolheads.

The coupe is based on the 125 , which did make its way to India as the Premier 118 NE, but with a Nissan engine. Was wondering if the undercarriage parts( Suspension, links etc) would fit ?

By the way I live in Sri Lanka

cheers
Prad

Not sure, but I think 71convertible may be interested in the original engine/gearbox (as a spare) as he has a Fiat Spyder with the 124 Engine. I have informed him about the availability via email.

Did the Vaz use the twin cam engine? I thought it was only the single cam version.

The '68 124 Sport Coupé belongs to my uncle. The short-stroke Lampredi I4 goes like a bullet. Beautifully kept, the car...!
