1968 Fiat 124 Coupe in Calcutta

I went to a nearby garage with my car and saw this monster sitting in one corner. The mechanic said to me that this type of car was used by Amtiabh in Don, but I am kinda clueless. I couldnt guess which car this is, but if I were to make a wild guess, it would be from the shelby family. It has 2 doors and its a left hand drive car.

They are making it ready for some vintage show and the engine was huge. Its supposed to be in roaring condition, pretty soon.

To me it does not look like a Mustang. To the best of my knowledge none of the Mustangs, Shelby's had this shape. In any case I have not seen any Mustang Or Shelby with a round monogramme on the hood, as you see in your photograhs.

I think we can safely say this isn't a Mustang.

I concur with Ajmat on this.

The car is just fantabulous even in this condition. The body is tough & hard as hell. Amazing looks. Its in a local garage in the Braunfield Row area. It seems to me now, that it indeed is a 1968 Fiat 124 coupe.

This one will make heads turn for sure during the vintage rallies.

The owner is restoring it now, as he had lost interest a few years ago. The owner has had an excellent collection of cars in the past. Did you see it in Khidderpore somewhere?

Yeh, the repair job is being done at a garage in the Kidderpore area.If u go to Diamond Harbour road and take a right turn, where the fruit vendors sit ,just before the sony world 4 way crossing, you will reach the garage. Its in Braunfield Row area.

Whose car is it? Must be some big shot.I am from Kidderpore so I guess ,I might be knowing the owner.
