Hi Manish

I brought this bike for 8,500/-from a scrap merchant, he kept this bike aside as it was intact and was in running condition. Sad thing is that these beauties are dismantled and used (frame & the fork assembly) to make mobile caravans as they are tough and durable. I have spent more than 30k in all to get this look .

You have a beautiful jawa! and that's quite a sum you've spent on restoring it! I'm actually in the process of picking one up for restoration myself.

Oh!! yet another beauty lost....Well done bike. I liked the paint and chrome job. I see the spokes on this bike is more than any other Jawa/Yezdi, can someone tell me is it manufacturer's specification or a modification. I was told this model (triangular tank rubber) has been sold for one year only, I'm not sure.

A friend recently sent me a parts catalogue for a 1952 Perak, I could gladly send you a copy for the same. Atleast I can repay the favour for the Amby manual you sent me

Thanks deutscheafrikar for your comment.

Yes lovely jawas' what is disturbing is that we have lost most of the speacilist during these years I meant tinkers/denters, mechanics as these vehicle were out of fashion and were sold as scrap.

There was a situation where my bike was not done up as it deserves and I was almost about to sell it that is when i got a right hand and the beauty relived.
