Totally agree with you man - the exhaust growl, and the rear wheel drive are the 1100's strongest points !

1 original fuse box - 'open type', which sits below the glovebox.

1 original air cleaner box - in the original greyish green shade !!

1 original distributor cap with wires.

MRX 6839 is slowly on her way to OH-REE-G-NALITY !!! Thanks a huge huge bunch Behram !!
Wow that's a whole lot, my my. Do you have the Air box in your car??

Also are those clips on the wheels servicable items. I thought they were integral of with the wheel. Please enlighten me.

@ Ravi,
Your ZOHARJABEE is really coming to much needed originality, only thing now required for your Super Select to be one of the most glorious examples of masterpieces is the original wheel caps.
@ All Fellow Tean BHPians,
Please help Ravi to source the much needed wheel caps.

I also think the same. But the question remains, can we get the Clips separately?

Manish, the clips are separate, and are rivetted to the wheels. That way they get a nice springy feel, and yet remain sturdy.

Yes Manish, IMHO the selects and superselects had identical wheelcaps. And yes, clips are available separately, "where" is the big question !!

Got hold of a treasure today - a neat clean pair of Tail Lights in Aluminium !!
Will slowly dismantle, clean, and Buff them to a shine. Replace the lenses with new ST lenses. Get the wiring checked, and Bingo.

SS all a treasure hunt it appears.Seeing your thread after a long time. After all its a five star thread. The wheel clips I believe were for affixing the wheel caps.Mumbai is a Fiat/Premier city but that stands good as far as newer 1965-97 Fiats/Premiers are concerned. For a SS spares (sorry even the older Fiat 1100D's had the Magnetti Marelli distributors and other electricals) must be quite tough to procure.Stockpiling for a rainy day is needed for sure.

I had a 1965 FIAT car for 10 long years I sold it off due to rising cost of petrol.
It had original grill, bumpers, meters, wiper hub caps I sold it just for Rs.11,000/-
3 years back. I car refuses to go out of memory. now I have 1994 model Fiat
