Nice to see a well maintained delight, the wheel caps seems like of imported delights and are like new, loving them. How about adding some more delight stuff?

@Manish: As funkykar said, its a Fiat 1221 imported LHD and not a Delight!

Here is a 1221 previously owned by Rony in Mumbai!

Mr. Ashok is owning this 1221 and an Elegant for the past 20 years. The 1221 was imported from France by an IAS officer who came on a transfer of residence from the Indian High Commission in France to Delhi. This car is currently in Chennai.

Rony knows this car well.

hi fcbians done up very well but the the sticker on the rear bumper and the fiat badge including 1.2 doesent match the italian fiat he should have gone for an better kind of seat colour and meterial to go with the car as an classic beauty any way excellent car now my car has got an partner

hi karthic not using my fiat for an long time and tied up with my buisness now i will have to go to l c k and do up the little bits on my car the wheel caps in the black car was looking fantastic on her wish i get one which lacks to finish my cars up to date

Into the last leg of restoration for this 118NE. The said car has gone in for painting yesterday

We had a wedding to attend at Mysore, and i was supposed to collect my 800 back from there, so drove my parents 150 kms in the NE. What comfort... Wow...!

My folks were super thrilled on the comfortable drive, the only hindrances being

1) 20 yr old Cross ply White wall tyres- not awe inspiring during high speed braking
2) The fan noise at times can be an irritant - Infact i can negate this, but modifying would steal its original charm. And my friend (CAR OWNER-Joy) loves the Aircraft noise it makes.

FE was best at 15 kmpl with A/C ON all the way.

The cooling system in this engine is the BEST, the temperature needle just moved 2 mm from its position after 150 kms.

The painting job is bestowed on to my friend, Who runs a TATA A.S.C

Came back in our beloved M-800, and my folks and i could tell the difference in comfort levels, The NE Scored Big time here.

Thats it on this car right now guys, 7 days later, will update again.

Day -1

Fittings are removed, car is moved towards the tinkering bay, where it will be banged at few places where we see some dents.

The door stock door pads have broken at the bottom, will be replacing only the wood.

Anna.. this is AirBusDriver (Joy's) car

Anyway's i own it in a different manner

I am painting the same color- Polynesian Beige

And the paint used will be either Dupont or Standox
