| ![]() I unfortunately could not make it to the meet this time around. I was out of town on an emergency and I missed being there. Glad to see the group so alive ![]() EDIT: On the brighter side the car is looking good as I had prepped it up for the meet. Last edited by autocrat : 23rd March 2016 at 11:11. |

| ![]() Hi, I am restoring a 1960 Fiat 1100 and would like to know where you sourced the front / rear glass weatherstrips. |

| ![]() Angad, please share your car pictures here, we all would love to see that. For the windshield rubbers, contact Jadsons in JC road if they have it. If not Mumbai / Pune and Gujarat is the only way forward. |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() 331 looks fresh now. The PP's 25 years old Original paint was badly faded. The only other option was to repaint I guess. Thanks to the new gen detailing products and detailing expert Sanjay, the outcome of detailing looks awesome. The car is due for FC and hope Arun gets the FC passed this time as the RTO inspector had issues with the Paint to approve the FC. Hope to see the car in the next FCB meet soon. The carburetor's detailing was impressive. ![]() |

![]() The rubbers appear darker in the 'after' pics as they have become cleaner and hence naturally darker. No dressing done. Quote:
That's how awesome RTOs are.

![]() Here are the sequence of events that happened from the past two years to bring back the gray PP back on road after an hibernation of 5 years all due to a faulty fuel pump. The jammed brakes were released, some two years back. ![]() Karthik Makam's S1's cross ply went into this PP last year. ![]() Some new spares were procured. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last month, Mechanic arrives to start the car after years of hibernation. ![]() ![]() PP was started and parked aside for the mechanic to do up the suspension and brakes. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() New fuel pump ![]() Engine oil changed ![]() Final tuning ![]() Parked alongside other PPs. ![]() This is how the car looked during FC, a bit faded, but mechanically perfect. The inspector rejected the FC request with the reason -> Re-paint needed. ![]() ![]()
