A big thank you to all Club Members

As Arun1100 said, thank you all for trusting us with your cars, for three whole days.
Even my father wouldn't of thought that his son would have friends older than my father's friends !
Now he will surely be proud of, not of me but my PADMINI, because no other car can give so much FUN, RESPECT, and PLEASURE.

Bangalore Rocks !

Hey boys, congratulations on a superb achievement, and on giving Fiats the place they deserve.. your devotion to Fiats is truly moving, and I can see the Bangy club moving up to 'numero uno' status soon .
The Dukkar line up looks gangsta in a cute sort of way.
Can we have captions on Sujith's pictures, so we can see who is who ?!?
Awaiting todays pics..

Ravi, thanks a lot from all here in Bangy. We appreciate you being so closely associated with our club. Our club's aim is to make Fiats the 'numero uno' classic car of India and I think we all are going in the right direction in achieving it.

Frankly speaking none of us who started the club ever dreamt that we would have 40 active members in just six months.

How our club started

On march 10 2009 Sujith and Karthik(Funnykar) opened an Orkut Community called Fiat 1100 Club, Bangalore, I immediately became member. Then Karthik(Karthik 1100) too joined. We all met up in Cubbon Park on March 15th in Cubbon Park. It was very surprising to know that many young guys like us liked Fiats so much. After few days Kedarnath joined our club.

At this point we never knew there was a Fiat Club in Mumbai too. A month later thanks to Team-Bhp we got to know all you people. Our aim of the club is to help all the Fiat owners in Bangalore and other cities to get parts, share technical information etc. Glad that we are able to do so. A recent small article in news paper has brought in many more new members.

In the Fiat Fest, foreigners showed lots of interest in our beauties. They loved the Padminis' Day Out

Sujith, its your turn to post the pics.
Today's display was great too! In addition to yesterday's cars, there was one more Delight and one Super Select. A couple of the Padminis I saw yesterday had been replaced with other Padminis. Did not click any pics. Thanks Sujith for helping us get in!
The foreigners who took interest in your cars...were they Italian by any chance? Great to see all the recognition the Club is getting!

Talking of cars and of our club, we have surprises every now and then Let me share with you the single owner Delight, with the Original papers as shown below

Now the Colonel Gopinath car with pull starter, the keys are not original as the switch was changed to accomodate the Premier Padmani starter motor, which in turn was used cause the pull starter can not be serviced in Coimbatore. Now that she is in Bangalore the same was repaired. I could only manage to get two shots of the starter lever first one from the engine bay and the second one from the driver side wheel well.

Overall, this event was a huge SUCCESS!

It got together all the members and their family (including Fiats) and friends. Everyone had a good time and all ended well.

Our club has got a lot of recognition in the last 1 week. It started with an article on Hindu paper. After that, TV9 and NEWS9 channels interviewed us, and took videos of our cars. They telecasted it as a 15 minute program. It was mainly on our club, why and how we started and most of our cars were shown. They also took our Rally videos and showed them too. I still have to compress the video that was recorded from TV and youtube it. This was followed by the October Fest and thousands visited us and were very happy to know about our cluf. Lastly, an article has been published in Deccan Herald.

Thanks to all the members for participating

Coming Soon: One of our members from the club would be trying to get an opportunity to show case our cars in Mysore Dusshera next time.

I cant wait to GO GOA for a Bangalore-Mumbai clubs meet.
