Yes Manish, this site will be useful for me.

I will be restoring my car from Padmini to Delight. But you have changed the name of Padmini to Padmani.

The other Arun is Sidman's friend. I think he is not selling the Delight now. BTW, you need to see this Arun's Lambretta collection. I think he has around 20 scoots.!

Hi Arun,
I don't think that logo has anything to do with FIAT, Monza is the track in Italy where the F1 races are held. The wording and the drawing on the logo also suggest a racetrack.

Hello Sir, Hows your Fiat?

Aravind(Blue President), he said it belonged to some Fiat. So I got the doubt.

That looks like a memorabilia badge from the Monza circuit - the car looks to date from the 80s, certainly not 1934.

Hi Arun,
The FIAT is fine, I take it out once a week when I go for Golf. I seriously need to get the entire wiring redone, I am trying to get the most elusive tail lamps and once I get that I will get the entire wiring replaced. I am even willing to get the tail lamp cast in aluminium if I can get hold of a sample piece.
Regards,
Col Gopinath

I am thankfull to fiat1100club, bangalore for the support they have given me. I have started a premier padmini club in Kangayam too, with the inspiration from bangalore club member Mr. Arun S, he is the person whom I find standing with me when ever I am confused or I have any trouble with my car.

Without the support of the Club I wont be able to maintain my car for long.

Thank You Fiat1100 Club, Bangalore.

If you mean sidman's friend Arun, nope, he told me he's changed his mind and decided to retain the car.

FCB-Fiat TEST RUN on 5th Dec '09

Founder Members of the FCB Test running the Club Cars in batches to make sure they are in Good Condition before the Great Indian Fiat Meet-Go Goa.

Start and End : Airlines Hotel
Test run route : Bangalore-Mysore State Highway
Distance driven : 310KM
Mileage= S1(1996) : 18kpl
Delux-BE (1978) : 13kpl, Both running on Free-Flow mufflers
Roads type : Express way, town roads, Forest roads

No problems were faced with the S1, but we had hose rapture in the Delux-BE due to bad quality of rubber and construction used. As it was a anticipated trouble and most experienced in such trip we carried spares and travel tools

Nice pics Sujith.

Sujith was ready with all the common spares needed and a well equipped tool box. All his worst fears of hose pipes cracking came true. We changed both the hoses.

Driving the S1 was a sheer pleasure. Constant speed of 135 in S1 was a piece of cake

The original idea was to test drive only Sujith's car. My handg felt too itchy and felt like driving and took along my S1. Luckily, the highway mileage on my S1 is excellent. We drove at various speeds and different conditions. It was a drive to remember

Lets go GOA guys.....gear up.

Lol

We thought of implementing a rule that any Fiat running in the city, should be registered with our Fiat Club and its illegal to drive without it. ( something like Happy Club of the movie Ajab Prem Ki Gajab Kahani... in that, Ranbir says" If you want to be happy in the city, you have to be a member of Happy Club"...)
